Nope, just the tip o'the mill ones a mom drives It's why I felt compelled to trash him because he went on about his skill, then I proceeded to teach him why that was a load of poo. For the record, I'm not even that good at racing irl, I can have fun on a track day and drift a little, but that's about all you're getting from me XDWas it even a Si?
Don't know where they got the idea that a Civic is a fast car. Got plenty at my school, you can hear them rev their nuts off in the parking garage. But when I pull up next to one in a set of lights they're quiet and never look at me
*WARNING! RACER STORY*
About a month ago I was waiting for some friends at safeway, when some kid who's like 15 or so(too young to be driving imo) pulls up in a 2003 Honda Civic coupe. He gave me this weird glare as I'm just sitting on my AE86's trunk and then he gets out grinning at me. He then sorta complimented my car after saying his was much better. I just kinda rolled with it since I didn't want to race him or anything. Then he told me on how he scared his grandma in a Civic, and then I just told him "okay, that's not cool and it's a bad idea to be showing off as if you own a Ferrari in a Civic". Then he got mad. After my friends came he followed us over and passed by us on the road we take(it's a touge course lol) then I just said "screw it", and after a corner or two he was gone.
I don't like racing on the streets in my 8-6, but I do enjoy putting those dumb ricer kids in their place. Thank god the U.S. never got Skylines or else I'd hate them too for ricers having them.
It felt like one tbh XDI must say, nice little story and it kinda sounded like an initial D episode to me. XD
Anyway, I honestly never ran into ricers that bad, there's just my idiot friends though that automatically assume that all american cars suck and that's it. Although, there are honda drivers on the road that annoy me often. I'm not kidding, whenever I get cut off, it's an idiot in an accord or if there's someone swerving through traffic while not even using turn signals, it's also an idiot in an accord or civic.
My school is full of this.People that think they're an expert car tuner after replacing something like an air filter or headlight. People that think they know how to rebuild an entire car just because they did basic maintenance things such as change the oil & tires.
My school is full of this.
My '09 coupe might not be winning any drag races, but in a world of hybrid econo-boxes and multi-ton trucks, it more than gets the job done.People who think their Honda Civic's are actually fast.

I think he's talking about the normal ones, not the Sis & Type Rs.*Cough* B18C Turbo *Cough*
^^ Yeah. Someone gimme an EK Civic Type R and about $100,000 for upgrades. New drag machine.
Someone give me a dragster and no money to upgrade... still fasterSomeone give me a 4th gen Camaro SS and $10,000 for upgrades. Faster new drag machine.

Someone give me an NHRA Top Fuel license. Then immediately faster than both of you.Someone give me a dragster and no money to upgrade... still faster
As I go to an automotive engineering school, I have to deal with ricers often... Some weeks ago a girl from a higher grade came up with a MkIII Golf Roadster with Angel Eyes... When I saw this, I laughed and pointed this out to my friend, who is a BMW nut... When she heard this she went mad at me and called me names

Interesting. So, what else did you do to your power plant to increase efficiency? Maybe this is the wrong thread to ask that.
It's just an example of how there are some very fast Civics.
Which in a way makes it a bit of a sleeper, nobody is going to think that your lowered Civic is going to be fast because of all the ricers, until they get into the boost that is.
Sticking a turbo into a Honda Fit would be interesting. But idk if anyone else find Fit's interesting the way I do.
That's a hydrolocked piston, not something you see in a Honda motor.
Last time I checked, 400hp in something as light as a DC2 or EK9 isn't slow at all.
Except where is that power going to? You're going to need to run slicks to be able to hook up at low speeds with those numbers. I've run into plenty of boosted civics and they rarely give me any problems. But if they got a RWD swap, look out
