Funny things RICErs say (radically immature car enthusiasts)

Didn't know he said that, just heard it somewhere. I googled it and it seems the correct quote is "Think about how stupid the avarage person is, and then realize that half of 'em are stupider than that"

Gotta love that man :)

I think I died a little inside while watching the first one

Don't worry, I didn't accuse you of anything :P Just saw it and reminded me of Carlin. Also yes, he was a wonderful man.

Well this just happened. I'm sitting in the front passenger seat of the family minivan while my mom is pumping gas. Some guy in a '04ish Civic stares me down on his way to the exit, and almost runs into another car coming in because he was staring at me. The second guy beeps the horn, then the Civic guy blares the horn for a solid minute and a half while blocking the second car. The Civic guy then backs up to let the other car continue, and the former speeds off all pissed off.

Some people.

"I have a sticker on my Mustang that says "My cat is smarter than your honor role student". I'm not sure if it adds any horsepower but it does make soccer moms give me nasty looks."

Taken from IGN comment section lol. The guy's joking though not being a real ricer.

A friend of Civic kid posted this about me on IG for telling him that he was using a jack stand wrong.

Sounds like he has some issues, insecurity, anger, damaged ego and possibly repressed feelings which he's trying to compinsate for come to mind if this was just from being told he's using a jack stand wrong.

I don't want to imagine how he'd take it if was something more important than using a jack stand correctly. :scared:

Or maybe I'm just reading too much in to it and he's just not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Let's face it, it's probably both.

Not exactly a RICEr thing, but here is a conversation my friend and I had about first cars I long while ago. He seriously thought he would get a 2002 Skyline GT-R Nur as his first car

Me: What do you want as a first car?
Friend: 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R Nur. I'm gonna add NoS, change the wheels, and upgrade the engine. I will be going 160mph on the Garden State Parkway in this thing. I will also do some serious street racing.
Me: Dude, be real.
Friend: I am being real. I am definitely getting this car as my first car. I can afford it.
Me (going along with him): Where will you get it. You know they do not make Skylines in the USA.
Friend: Tokyo
Me: You do know the car costs a few million yen (50,000-60,000 bucks), costs almost 10,000 to ship, and the aftermarket parts will you want will end up costing close to 100,000 bucks! You can't afford that.
Friend: Maybe I'll get one from a junkyard and fix it up to save money.
Me: You have no experience fixing cars.
Friend: Fine, I will keep my Skyline stock at 276 horsepower.
Me: They really have around 330 horsepower stock. And still, it would be too expensive.
Friend: I am definitely getting one stock. I will still do street racing in it though.
Me: You do know that street racing is illegal right?
Friend: Oh.

He ended up getting a GMC Yukon as a first car.
