How are you getting this PP with just Turbo & Stage 3? Tried a heap of different combos but couldn't get anything to match your PP & HP figures.

Hello all. First time posting. Long time lurking. As I don't have many FWD cars, I first tried this with a Clio RS '11. I failed to bronze with it. Next up was Focus RS '02. Bronzed with it. I see many of you used the Integra type r (DC5) '04. Reached silver with that. Shout out to shaunm80 for his tune. Helped me to gold with a lap of 2:23.833. Back to it.
Welcome to GTplanet!

What are Damper Extension or Anti roll bar settings? I'm not sure which is missing, but it seems to be one or the other.

Thanks for sharing the tune.

@shaunm80 I used your tune as an excuse to finally use this car, and it turned my car into this...

Just wanted to say thanks!

I'm probably going to be wrong but I think it is HP vs. BHP, 96.2% is 349hp x 1.014 is 354 (353.866).
96.2% 349/225 is with sports computer, racing exhaust, high rpm turbo, sports converter and exhaust manifold.

You can get a little more power (351hp/220@ 99.9%) with stage 3 tuning, racing exhaust, and high rpm turbo or
(350hp/223@ 98.5%) with sports computer, semi racing exhaust, exhaust manifold, sports converter and high rpm turbo.

I have no idea which ends up being the best, I just like seeing what changes what with the numbers, lol :)

Ok thanks WG. I have tried the Stage 3, racing exhaust & high rpm turbo @ 99.9% & it seems similar to my previous power settings though possibly a tenth quicker on average in sector 1 though not sure if that translates to the rest of the track.

Are the tyres warmer or what?
I think when you are hot lapping you're coming into the last corner before the start bar much faster than the opening lap cruising start. That hot lap speed carries through until the first corner after the start line,

Have improved nearly a second from 2:22.2 down to 2:21.3.

Oh, regarding 'hot lapping'. I find it doesn't help me in the least. I always nail that 1st corner better on my first lap.
Not sure whether the warm tyres business is any help.

And Rajmans rear suspension level at minimum. I'm using 11.something.

In that case - in the Scirocco - I'm doing the last corner (left) all wrong.

Kudos to Rajman for the tune, got a solid 2:20 after a dozen attempts ending in misery, then down into the 19's to get under #200 when I finally found a groove...

I've been wondering though, am I the only one that despises this track? Never liked the course when I raced on it back in the day (TOCA), and on this event in particular it was a real pain to get a good time in... I don't think I'll be coming back to this one. :ill:

Agreed—I really don't like this track. In the survey I did of the World Circuits, though, it scored quite favorably:

1: 14 (3%)
2: 59 (12%)

Actually managed Gold in an FTO which was fun, about 0.5s under. Then tried the Integra, managed to get exactly 500PP then applied my own fonky tweaking to the LSD and a click or two up on max speed, got me just a shade over 2:24. I would love to crack 2:24 and definitely can but keep making a cheap mistake here or there. Was 2220 in the world or thereabouts. Personally I don't like to overtune a car then restrict the power as it seems a little unrealistic to me, so I am probably losing out there overall.

Did learn something from this event though, I was losing time on the left hander after the fast section near the end, the kink must be taken flat but then I was braking too late for that corner, whereas if you brake earlier and give it quite a wide berth you can take it much faster and smoother.

Want to try some different tunes but don't want to have to keep changing any of the 3 I already have lest I ruin what I already have, so I'll buy another Integra to give me some space. I'm interested in others gearing especially.

My brother likes the FTO too. Seems a bit more powerful.

Here's my question and I'm asking without trying to search everywhere.

HP or Torque? You can start swapping parts keeping the same PP but get quite a variance between HP and Torque. Do you give up 2 HP for 4 more Torque and have a (slightly) higher power/weight ratio?

It really stinks we're forced to do this. It'd be nice if we could save tunes (complete with descriptions!) just like replays. Including aero parts.

Using @nowcontrol's '98 Integra tune I was finally able to get gold (2:25.234)!

...I just had to break down and use Active Steering to do it. :dunce:

Well, whatever. I'm done with this event. I hate this track anyway! :)

OK, new car and using Rajmans tune, at least as much as I could emulate as some I just couldn't copy exactly, eg gearbox and power. My power is @ 88.4% (358bhp) using all power available incl' high range turbo but no intake tuning.
Have added 59kg at 0, but will try that at say -15.
Anyway it worked, have been 7 tenths/sec in front of my ghost going down Conrod Straight (long straight after the mountain) however mucked up the L/hander after it and went out.
In any case I have taken off nearly 4 tenths and are now on 2:20.917.

I did a 2:23 in a '94 FTO GPX as a good change of pace from all the Sciroccos and Integras I've seen. Probably wouldn't recommend the tune I used though because it's probably more understeery than the other tunes in this thread. (That, and I don't recall exactly where I got the tune from, but I know it isn't an original tune of mine, otherwise I'd have shared it on the tunes section of the forum.) Convenient thing about this car: when you fully tune it, it's only a few points over 500PP. The GR version fully tuned actually has more PP than this though. GPX has 506PP and GR has 508PP.

Initially tried with a red '95 EG6 with "Dancing" by Vicky Vale playing in the background, but the gearing was too short and I was too lazy to mess about with it, and I was too late on the brakes coming off the Conrod straight.

Thanks SW been waiting for your tune 👍

It will help a lot of people out

Edit - has helped me to a 2:19.476 so far 2:18xxx is my target if I can nail the esses and forest elbow 👍

Edit - 2:19.339 🤬 I was .718 up on my ghost and went too conservative at the end of Conrod and blew a 2:18.700 🤬:dunce:
