I got to say I've always liked the Viper, part of its appeal for e is the looks now. The back looks good, the side looks, the wheels but the front...

...oh god. It's awful. If you were to overtake one of those things you'll think "what a brilliant piece of design" but when you check your mirror, you'' see the front and change your mind completely. It's horrid(just the front fascia, the rest is brilliant)

Oh and another thing I don't like on the new Viper is how its 'Striker' symbol lights up when you brake! WHY!?!

This has been a standard feature dating back to the original Viper GTS so its not new at all really.

I don't understand why I'm so drawn to the Viper, but I am. It's like I have to have either a really tiny engine that spins absurd RPM (see wankel rotary) or a big giant engine that makes a mountain of torque. I don't like the middle ground.

What amazes me about that massive lump of 8.4L V10 is that it is rather compact, considering the displacement. Also if I recall, the older 8L V10 weighed around 500 lbs, which isn't bad at all for such a high displacement motor. I'd imagine the current motor would weigh even less.

And I never would have though some people didn't like the Striker logo being the center brake light. I always thought that was an awesome feature myself.

Which is what I was referring to. Dodge Viper is much more striking (no pun intended) name than Chrysler Viper..

Only $459,000? I'll take 2, and give them the best livery ever put on a Viper.

That would be an awesome livery to re-introduce back on the car. I wonder if Oreca will pick a couple cars up & run them in the FIA. Wouldn't mind seeing Larbre Competition either, but that would mean turning in their Corvettes.

Man, that GT3 Viper is amazing!!!👍

Come on Team Ocera, bring back the old Ocera Viper lively back to racing. And PD and T10, bring him to GT6 and FM5, plus every model car company, a 1:18 scale!

So the standard car is actually better around a track?

I thought the GTS had an adjustable suspension that could actually be set stiffer than the standard one?
