I get stuck in the pits whenever I go in. The car puts itself in gear and the throttle indicator shows its trying to move when the stop is over, but it never does. After a while of this it will switch between first and reverse.
I've had the same problem, and it's very annoying :(
I use a G27, maybe it has something to do with the clutch, I'll keep testing to see if I can solve it somehow.

The Premium RX-7 FC's in-car tachometer displays half of the actual revs. So you bounce of the rev limiter seemingly at 4000rpm.

I was looking through the museum when all the museum cards disappeared and I couldn't see any one them.

It takes time to load up. Rather go back to the manufacturer list and count how many you have to verify. Then go into a specific manufacturer and wait a few seconds. It will pop up. Its not a glitch.

I also noticed on a snow rally, the shadows of the flags...well...they can't keep up with the flags. It's like watching GT5 and something on the Atari 2600.

Lack of wheel rotation options
That's not really a bug. Or a glitch. Or a mistake. Or a flaw. Or ... anything pertaining to the topic, really. If anything, it's an absent feature which means you're either in the wrong thread or you haven't understood what this thread is about.

So is this game worth getting or not? Seems like it's crap until next year when it's all patched up and ready to play... PD are slow...

I really couldn't comment on that. I haven't played Forza 3 enough to get much of an opinion on it at all (only an hour or two), much less in comparison to GT5.

I have played Forza 3 enough to know that GT5 has lost the US VS JP battle in Sim racing games this gen.....everyone knows it and would be a Farcry if said otherwise. cheers

and there is the FM vs GT5 dicusion again.
:ouch:

To get back on topic,
I haven't seen any real bugs yet, or at least none that bother me....

So Forza3 would be the better game overall?

I'd suggest purchasing GT Prologue and playing it. I think it goes for about $10 used on ebay. I have Forza 2 and Forza 3 as well as the MS force feedback wheel. After I got into Prologue (w/ G27) I basically quit playing forza. Forza has more arcade like physics. However it has some great customizing options. I built a turbocharged 4wd Dodge Viper that I really enjoyed. Regardless of which game you get, I'd recommend playing with a wheel.

Ok... i use a wheel and?

theres no way to turn down the volume of voice overs like the jeff gordon one or the navigator in the rally challenges, so if I turn every other sound down the voices are still full bore.

I don't know.. It seems that PD were in a hurry to put the game out because everybody was getting eager to play it. Maybe they jumped the gun a little bit?

-In cockpit view during grand tour, rain drops are large and square.
-in practice mode on Monaco the game would freeze for about a half second when i crossed start/finish
- high beams are inconsistent, most times being toggled on and off, but sometimes being momentary (push and hold)

Well these few things had better be addressed imho:

Donno why but when using G25 and clutch, changing gears up (and some times down) while drifting (Clutch fully in, firm and steady gearshift manipulation) the gear wont engage? It will engage however, when I`m not using clutch, what is the PS3 doing right with the clutch and gearstick manipulation that I reportedly am so bad at?

When kicking the clutch when im drifting a fully tuned 200hp+ AE86, the Revs drop dramatically, and even though the rpm that the needle drops down to is reported to be where the engine gives the most torque, I get 0 torque, and thus null wheelspin and the car regains traction.. Funny.. This does not seem to be the case with real ae86`s? http://www.streetfire.net/video/fantastic-ueo-style-while-drifting-with-underpower_55645.htm

Few bugs:
Could not get into AMG special event. The track (Nordchleiffe) loading bar is filling up but there is no HDD activity.

Couldn't buy the premium nissan 300 zx. I purchase the car and the game locks up.

NOTE: Haven't yet instaled any updates, having problems with my router.

P.S: Any way I can download updates from PC and install them via USB stick?

Try playing the Vitz cup at Fuji in the beginners B-Spec mode. It's impossible to win. One of two things happens: Your guy goes wide after the straight, touches the rumble strip, and then stops for like 4 or 5 seconds; your guys goes wide and a whole bunch of other cars go wide, and they box you in for 6 or 7 seconds on the last lap.

This is really annoying!

I get a glitch when using the g27 and you shift gears... the car will be in gear because you are accelerating still, but the indicator says you are in Neutral.

This is NOT the same as the clutch problem that many complain about because I am actually in gear and I can still brake and increase speed by pressing the accelerator, just the indicator stays on 'N'

Im not 100% sure if this has already been posted or if it is even classified as a "glitch" but in the European hot hatch section of Amateur A-spec, I can choose basically any European car. Im pretty sure my Lambo is a mid engine sports car not a hatch haha :D

ECU upgrade on the '63 Giulia Sprint Speciale? I'm pretty sure ECUs didn't come about until MUCH later than this?

And don't forget the sport catalyst:D

The previous GT's already had the option to upgrade the ECU of classics. Hoped Polyphony would have fixed it by now, but no.

Beware the cars from the collector's edition, as there may be corrupted data in the file!!!!!:nervous:

No no, they are all fine. Just the collectors cars are bugged. They are fitted with sports H tires, which feel like someone has put them in a freezer over-night. They are so annoying to drive with.

Other then that, the collectors edition (PAL) is perfectly fine.

The info section for the Corvette C1 convertible in the used car dealership is all wrong, it kept talking about the Camaro and other GM vehicles, but not the Corvette exclusively.

It's fun looking for bugs actually. Another way to play the game I suppose.:)
