I've just got San Fierro 'unlocked' (i know, i'm taking it slow!) and i went for a wander round last night, found no missions but hooked up with some mental chick who like car crashes! - anyway, across the road from the car dealership and Pay & Spray complex is what looks like an old petrol station/garage, its on the same 'block' as the demolition site with all the large drainege pipes. To the left of the old petrol station is a block of garages, one of which opens for you like the ones you get next to most of the 'safe houses'?!?!? - can you save your cars in here?, has anyone else come across this? - i'm not able to buy myself a safe house in SF yet so i'm hoping i could at least save myself maybe a helicopter in here to stop all those long car journeys back to the 'country' where i still have missions to finish.

I did the 'photograph-then-kill' mission for Tenpenny on mount ciliad, The Truth's combne harvester mission, then i met up with CJ's sister and Cesar at the trailer park - he said something about finding something by the freeway upto SF?!?!? - not sure what this is ment to be?
The only other missions i have available to do are some of the Catalina robberies and the street race with Woozie.

How's this - I found an even better place. In the little town right by the airfield, there's a Sprunk machine and a vending machine at the big building south of the highway. The building's large, empty parking lot across from the Big Pecker looks like a great place to land - plenty of open space to approach & take-off from. Check it out...

yeah i used the one just outside the bloodring in SF, and to lower wanted level i used the police bribe in bayside, between a marquie in the water and a warehouse, its just next to ware house and the fence to the ocean. I also used a hotdog stand in LS pier, where you finish lowrider race and when i came across randomly parked hotdog vans i ate then as well. Vigilate took me over the entire map. I dont think there was a spot i didnt go.

I found a vending machine on the north side of the base ball park (next to the building)-- if you are still interested in finding one in LV.

I went on a short killing spree in the hunter-- still not liking it as much as VC's --- I can handle the over steer but the left firing button is still screwing me up--- i did manage to take out a few helis with the minigun--

Small_ , did you notice if the hunter auto aim is shooting at the helis, or was I just lucky???

I haven't spent alot of time in the hunter still, just haven't had time, but I hope to try out some stuff soon in the hunter.

no it shoots at helis as well, so does the tank if they are close enough. after 4 hours in the hunter im used to the L1 shooting button and im confident in my control of the beast

Wow, that game gives you some money. I still prefer Black Jack. I just get money from that and Roulette. I seem to go well at both.

Have you collected all the Horseshoes??.
Cause im loving the maxed out luck, makes the casino's a bit more fun especially the slot machines.

Nah. What else do the Horseshoes give you? Do they give you guns at your Save Place? Do the Oysters give you guns too?

I just hate having guns lying around everywhere, but I want to max out my Lung Capacity, and I wouldn't mind the Luck.

horeshoes give you guns out side the casio, Sub machine gun, M4, Spaz shotgun ( i mean combat shotgun) and the sachel charges.

Oysters just boost your lung capicty but mine was already full when i collected them, though i think it boosted it a bit more. im unsure

So the Oysters don't give you any little pick-ups outside any place?

They also boost your Sex Appeal by the way.

Ahhh, i see! - finished the Catalina 'robbing missions' and the woozie 'country races' then i did the Truths 'burning weed' mission - what a waste!!!
What do i get as my 'save house' - that very same garage, imagine my suprise.

He actually got his Save House. And you should also ask in your Criminal Rating Thread, and let people post it in there. I wouldn't go around the whole Forum asking. Maybe PM'ing people you think might have a different Criminal Rating could be an idea, but don't go asking in all different Threads.

Anyway ive been trying to find good killin spot but the fbi ranchers dont spawn like VC, Ive also figured out how to fly around with 5 stars and not have any hydras on my tail.

On a related note... I heard that if you're not very good at killing the Hydra's in Vertical Bird... then you can destroy 2 of them before you take off in the third... the only one you can;t get is the one on deck.

Your not far off getting your save house now

I do have my save house in SF now thanks, along with Zero's business and a little apartment around the corner from the garage. I'll check my Criminal Rating tonight, and post it in the relevant thread on Monday. All i can remember about any of my stats at the mo' are that i'm at approx 24% from 22 hours play. I'm at hitman level with most of my weapons (the ones i've unlocked anyway) - from plenty of terratorial battles. My driving is at about a 1/4 level, motorbike level is about 3/4 and cycling at max! (gotta love that BMX). Muscle and stamina are max, respect about 3/4 and sex appeal at 1/3rd. I need to work at lung capacity because that's at about only 1/8th - time consuming and boring to improve!

Yeah, although I'd never seen that requirement until I watched Blake play it. Mine was already decent enough. Getting Oysters gets your Lung Capacity up, so if you can be bothered finding them, or even using a guide, that would be much quicker.

I don't believe in using guides (not when GTA SA has to last me until GT4!) so it looks as if i'll have to go for a bit of a 'splish splash'

- do you have to get all the oysters before your lung capacity goes up?
