Goodwood Hill Climb confirmed to feature in Gran Turismo 6! + Videos

I'm thinking that if PD will also include Goodwood Circuit, there might be the chance of seeing a BTCC championship in GT6 (since Brands Hatch and Silverstone are already in. PD somehow managed to have NASCAR with only 2 tracks in GT5...).

Brands Hatch is in?

If that Lotus 32B turns out to be a driveable car in the game, I may actually die. It's even got "my" number on it, and the name of the person I use it "for". :D
I'd have preferred a 24 or early 25, though, with the cross-plane V8 FWMV engine instead of the FPF inline four - that would really need PD to get the new sounds working on PS3.

The others are a 49B, a 72 and a 99T, plus, probably, last year's "Lotus" F1 car, whatever that's called. It's obviously far too good to be true!

They clearly couldn't get the license for the current Lotus, it isn't modelled in the game. I don't see why they'd only make the cars in game just too look at. Still though, not getting hopes up :P

After some thought. And I don't know if anyone has said it before, but does anyone think the hay bails (?) will be solid like a wall?

It was displayed on the GT6 reveal event.

Later versions now available in stores does not mention Brands Hatch or GPS feature, I am not sure, I haven't seen "updated" Image.

But then again, Bathurst mention has also been edited out from all official blogs shortly after reveal.

I have high hopes because the constant "trimming down" of information points more to deliberate witholding the announcements.

Somebody on the Silverstone reveal had to have some text, approved by someone, to design and print that box. It didn't come out of the thin air. Same as edited Bathurst mentions on the official blogs.

Same as the GPS-feature description.

Time will tell. But as that particular image is concerned, it has been displayed on the Silverstone GT6 Reveal Event. It is official as pre-release official information can be.

Everything can change during the time, as the Sienna Kart Track was cut out of the GT5, or officially announced Top Gear Stig Challenges for GT5, or mention of Pikes Peak being available in GT5, or Mercedes-sanctioned story of Hockenheim for GT5.. The list goes on and on. But none of those are *fake*.

So just to confirm, he definitely saw them mapping the track as well as the hill climb?

My thoughts too - mind you quite a few here will not apologise or even admit it when proven incorrect.

I'll be happy to be wrong about that, but until I see otherwise, my observation stands.

Nevertheless, a good surprise announcement and it's great to see the positive buzz back around here.
