Got a copy of GT6, ask questions here

I don't get the arguing and pessimism myself, the games not out yet and if anyone has any doubts they should just wait for the reviews. Frankly I'm just glad that GT6 didn't go the route of another popular console racing sim.

But the game is out, hence a lot of the disappointed comments. Given the day one patch is yet to be seen, but what we've seen thus far, is the final game.

seriously? Nobody wants quantity over quality, but as much as we love the franchise, PD continue to astound and make bonehead moves and while we will concede that the premium cars are beautiful quality, and some tracks are gorgeous, the Artificial Intelligence (that's an Oxymoron) has never been quality and the GT5 iteration was purely horrible. Some games have been making decent AI for over a decade. There is no excuse. We would be happy to have half the races if they were full of fantastic challenging AI that made random mistakes, had personality, were fast, aggressive, defensive, and made you work for a victory, you know, like many other franchises have already proven is possible...

Seriously?

Thanks for agreeing with me in such a hostile tone :dunce:

Its sorta out, but technically it hasn't been released yet. From what Kaz has said in interviews they want to GT6 continually patch and fix up GT6 as they go, and considering whats going on with the consoles they sort of have to release GT6 the way that it is or face a consumer base that has long moved onto PS4s.

Haterade as in Gatorade. :P

That's a very very good point! Thank the stars for the PS4 forcing an early GT6 release, or else we woulda had to wait another 2 years :D

Thanks, but more like 5 or 10 years, and by then PS3s would be what PS2s are now. PD may make some screwy decisions, but thankfully they've stuck to their (two games per a system) rule.

Is it possible to get the Nissan GT-R past 1000 HP? Would love to hear that because a maxed out Ford GT had less power than a maxed out GT-R in GT5 aswell.
And because im probably the biggest GT-R Fan in the World. :D

ahh sorry no, im the biggest GT-R fan in the world. and i had the same profile pic as you till a few weeks ago

Well, it's the retail game, but it's not the final game. There's a few features that remains to be added via updates. The game might not be final until a year or so from now.

Awesome! Now, if they could only add some off-roading on Earth...

Anybody know the Performance Points rating of the Ferrari FXX?

EDIT: Also didn't somebody say the PP algorithm is pretty much the same? Thanks.

Sorry if it has already been asked, but how long are the loading times compared to gt5? That game really tested my attention span lol

Depend on how much you have installed your game data, mine was 1.XXX MB (X is the number but i forgot what was it), the game loading time is faster then gt5.
At the back of my game cover, it says 20 GB recommended.

Thank you sir! I might have to upgrade my PS3 then, as I have the 40gb edition.

I would like to ask if the new physics reverberate on setups too. For example, is car x setup from gt5 usable in gt6?

Also my 2 cents on the enduro races; if they are not in at launch how difficult do you think it would be to add them back for PD? It like 100kbs script plus a couple of MB picture/art...

If they're not part of launch, I doubt that they will ever be patched in.
The reason why I think that is because in GT5 there were plenty of updates, but not a single one involved any change of the Career mode content. E.g., when they delivered the patch that made it possible to go from 12 to 16 cars on track, they left out the opportunity to revamp career mode with that.

The way GT5's career was built up made it very hard to change anything there. GT6 is built in a more open way, with DLC/patches in mind. This may make it a lot easier to add events.
