Was out on the town, catch me up guys, the cockpit view for all cars issue hasn't been resolved yet? Or do we have to wait until that twitter interview 5 and a half hours from now?

Stranded cars will have cockpit view, with less interior details

Premium cars will also have cockpit view, with higher interior details.

as for the Damage

Stranded cars = Physics damage - Scratches, dents, dirt accumulation.

Premium cars = Physics damage - Scratches, dents, dirt accumulation
and Deformation and separation of body panels

Yeah that's what we think (and hope) it will be, but it hasn't been confirmed if ALL cars have a cockpit view yet has it?

Well, no. But really, I think it's very likely that most cars have a cockpit view. I mean do you really think that all the cars from GT5P are Premium with full damage model and super-detailed internals?

If you looked at the pictures i posted, you would realize that Premium cars have perfect car details.

It seem that those so called pro gaming sites, didn't want to give all the info so they can cause some traffic/hits on their pages.👎

Hey zod, I've already read that article but that just makes it more confusing. I've pretty much read all articles on the subject, I just want a confirmation. Hopefully we can get one today.

Interviewer: "Everybody wants to know will every car in the game have a cockpit view"
Kaz: "Yes"

That's what I'm hoping for.

Yes! and standard cars will also have interior but not at this detailed level. 👍
Yeah, after seeing this I believe so too. Most of the cars in Prologue are not even close this level of detail, but are still gorgeous and perfectly modeled.

Amen.

Yes that is what we are all waiting to hear. But all of these interviewers never ask the right questions. They keep asking crap like "how many cool cars will there be?" and "when is it due?"

Im sure Kaz said this to those journalist, but like i said

those so called pro gaming sites (Eurogamer,IGN,gamespot, kotaku), didn't want to give all the info so they can cause some traffic/hits on their pages....

anyways we should contact Jeff from PS blog so he could ask Kaz.

Cause they're all retards, the release date is on the damn trailer and the G4 guys asked them again...*sigh*

That's why I was hoping Kaz would do an interview with IGN today at thier 12:00pm GT5 slot cause at least they ask good questions, that Greg guy is pretty cool and knows what's going on.

Because many of them, don't know jack S:censored: about games and racing simulators.

"The Standard cars apparently won't have the exact interior modeling. For example, an Enzo's interior will look like the real deal, but your typical Mustang's will look like exactly like Mustang's."

Appreciate the effort to get this quote but this doesn't exactly make things more clear now does it?
It isn't even clear whether the Mustang is Premium or the Enzo from this quote.
The "real deal" and "exactly like" leaves little room for distinction and we could forever debate semantics but it appears confusing to me.
Or am I the only one not getting a clear confirmation out of this?

I think the author of that article was confused himself, or on crack when he was writing it. Doesn't help at all

Amen dude. I was so mad when the oliva woman kept making fun of everything instead of asking good questions. I took off from work so I can stay home and hear good info but fat chance coming from those jack asses.

:banghead:

Whats hard to understand?

"The Standard cars apparently won't have the exact interior modeling"

won't have the exact interior modeling
won't have the exact interior modeling
won't have the exact interior modeling

The exact interior modeling

that means it will still have interior but not exactly detailed as The premium ones!

My interpretation:

"real deal" = Looks indistinguishable from the real life counterpart

"exactly like" = Looks like the real life counterpart with a lower level of detail... ie. not all the stitchings are there, engine bay not modelled etc.

But thats just my .02 cents... dont have a confirmation from anywhere at the moment.

So far it seems that full hand animation/wheel rotation has not been implemented. Has anyone heard or seen otherwise? Kinda odd PD would let something like this go as I swear they had it, albeit in crude form, more than a year ago in some prologue demo. Everything else is looking awesome, I will say.

@Sasuki We get that dude, but it's coming from that article which just confuses everyone and don't really trust it anymore. Even other articles have said there will be "no interior". IGN for one

We need confirmation

We don't know what to expect from IGN, their live video feed of GT5 starts in 5 hours but I don't think they will have Kaz there. It might be another member of the PD staff so most likely won't get the cockpit view issue resolved there but there will be proper gameplay footage

Well we need a gamer and racing fan like us to make the interview, not some armature gaming journalist... :|

You can bang your head as much as you like, this is just a theoretic assumption not based on hard facts.
I can easily understand all those theories and would love to believe them, but I won't be fully reassured until I read it is confirmed, not widely assumed.
Get the fact that Premium is more detailed, didn't get the fact Standard has cockpit view on all cars.

Hey guys remember all those videos from miminimax? wasn't there any cars in those videos that would most likely be standard or were they all premium? If you spot a standard car and see an interior, then we can breathe better...

I think all cars in this E3 demo were Premium.

I remember seeing a youtube clip a month ago where someone chose a "Standard" car on the 'ring demo and it had a cockpit when he was racing.

I'll try to find it.

I'm with you. But I'm a lot more optimistic than yesterday, that's for sure. :)
