Somebody on this forum posted this once we saw the 1st video saying that these this was not a final copy of the game, but as usual people shot him down and called him delusional. I wish i can find it.

either they all differ quite a bit depending on what version.

or it is a previous build with a fully built interface. but missing content/ areas
this will likely explain a lot about missing features...broken bits. ??

It's one of those things. I don't think Sony would spend that much money just to get a few people mad.

Yes but at least the rating on the disk makes sense. GT5 on the other hand has a 0 USK rating on the disk which doesn't make any sense.

I wonder if PD tracked your PS3 adress and remotely blocked the features, a simple patch of few kbytes would get the job done. That would be a whole new level for the term Censored.

If they were willing to do that they could simply disable the Ps3 from or block that game at least.

This isn't the first GT game where we've had an ending movie well before we completed the game. GT1's ending movie was when we completed the GT Worrd Championship, I can't remember where GT2's popped up, GT3's was early on as well. GT4 had two ending movies IIRC, 1 for completing the GT World championship again and another one accessed later on. Maybe it was GT3 that had two endings, but either way every full GT game so far has had an ending movie that you can get to relatively early into the game completion wise.

As for the "feature not available" message, I'm guessing that they are dependent on PD's servers going online which I doubt will happen until release.

"USK 0" ist an official rating here in Germany. It means it is approved without an age limit. See www.usk.de.

That can only mean 2 things:
1)this is really how the game is (short)
2)this could be a review copy where as always it gets finished in a day or 2 .

Who knows but I am not loving number 1 so much right now

Remember that frame drop where the track goes missing on the nurbur.... someone said that was in the demo or some version so this is probably the same version.

Its highly unlikly its a review copy. They are the same as the retail copy. It is most likely a PREVIEW copy. Big difference
