my bad you're right
Keep those link in mind my friends, worth the watch
Those standards don't look bad at all, still hoping for a wheel/rim package for DLC for the standard only models, it says on the back on the book that was poosted "Add on content" so means they plan to make some DLC like motorstorm had dlc tracks/cars etc (lets hope! lol)
Those karts look really fun.
Information from the early french release :
Sony might press charges against french gamestores that sold the game BEFORE the official release... could be fun !
Well, Seeing as we have rollovers now, and that amar said the physics are more refined even from the TT academy demo, yeah I'd say we'd be able to do a lot of things physics based, its about time we can get some wheel lift, we haven't been able to do that since the demio days on GT2.I guess that now front wheel drives can lift their rear internal wheel and rear wheel drives their internal front wheel while cornering hard:
That FD drift video looked sweet, whatever calculations they used for the smoke is wicked, almost close to the real thing. I can only imagine the awesome drift videos to be had once people get their hands on this. I might even try drifting once again, haven't done that since GT3.
I see someone complaining about the sounds again, it's obvious that the sound in these videos are not full 5.1 so it's going to sound a little compressed. Just go check the sounds in other videos of the full game and hear the difference, I think RDK uses a 5.1 sound set up or stereo, but the sounds in older videos sounds leaps and bounds beyond past GT's. In amar212's write he says that the sounds are very much improved.
A little compressed? On videos where BGM is ON, notice the difference of how the music would sound on your system. You use that as the gauge to base your auditory perception.
tsukuba looks great i think![]()
Telemetry only on Premium cars I suppose???
going to stir the pot on this some more![]()
There was a setting to bump up the sound quality for better sound systems in GT5P, when i finally found the setting and adjusted it, the sound was much much better.. so it could just be (in addition to listening to crappy audio on Youtube) that they could have the game on incorrect sound settings (if of course that option is available in GT5)
Tsukuba is very nice, too bad we wont be seeing a wet\rain version(so far).
HOwever the RX7 video left a sour taste in my mouth because of only ONE thing, when drifting the smoke from behind(as seen from the front) the car is extremely pixelated when blending with the car model, from behind its not an issue, but from the front you can see huge blocks of pixels until the smoke evaporates.

Theres also more disappearing scenery in the Course Maker tracks. This seems to be a common issue among Course Maker tracks(previously in the Eifel video, a mountain pops up)
Watch the Grandstand disappear.

that's pretty nasty, does it look any better in motion?

Im guessing these glitches might be due to the lack of ram on the PS3.Tsukuba is very nice, too bad we wont be seeing a wet\rain version(so far).

That is NOT from GT5. It is a real life picture. As mentioned a few posts back, you can tell because there is actually a reflection of the side mirror. GT5 does not have side mirror reflections.More realistic photoshoping i think![]()

The smoke is due to the quality of the video, watch others and you will see it looks great. The dissapearing thing was also spot it @ the ring in one of Tekken's videos, again could be the video it's self ,amar never saw anything like it so it is probably a very rare thing.
Unfortunately the smoke pixellation is visible beacuse of the high quality of that video. I guess people will get used to it but that's how it'll look at high resolution.
seems much better in motion.. Just like GT PSP was, if you remember, horrible on pictures, but awesome while playing the game![]()

The other pics look great. I dont see why people are photshopping some of them though. Well I guess you probably do have to use photoshop to fix the "standard" cars.![]()

I seriously doubt that ,I have seen alot of videos showing smoke and none of them look pixelated,But yes I see your point but even if the smoke is pixelated why would the R8 be .Atleast I hope so![]()
