my bad you're right ;)
Keep those link in mind my friends, worth the watch

Those standards don't look bad at all, still hoping for a wheel/rim package for DLC for the standard only models, it says on the back on the book that was poosted "Add on content" so means they plan to make some DLC like motorstorm had dlc tracks/cars etc (lets hope! lol)

Those karts look really fun.

What i hope for is for replay value, just like Forza 3, we shall get DLC cars. I hope too see the Reventon, Veyron SS, and Honda HSV all in premium as dlc.

Information from the early french release :

Sony might press charges against french gamestores that sold the game BEFORE the official release... could be fun !

I agree with that, I mean we all see what a tease it is for those people that got the game early (or shipped early) while we have to wait, there is an official launch date for a reason, they are lucky they got it this early, most of the time games are picked up the day or 2 before launch at the airport for pickup. I think they should be nailed with any fine that's possible, I don't have my copy in my hand. I did the same thing they did, I pre ordered my game etc, It's not that I'm jealous, I'm speaking on the rights of everyone else too. I wouldn't feel so bad if it was the store doing a midnight release, few hours difference, and a midnight release is legal, and it's not early, it still falls on the same day, I would be fine with that, but not giving only a few people the copy like a week early.

I guess that now front wheel drives can lift their rear internal wheel and rear wheel drives their internal front wheel while cornering hard:

little off topic but i'm noticing some sub focus tracks in a couple of these videos, unless they are just using custom tracks and all happen to be sub focus fans lol

Well, Seeing as we have rollovers now, and that amar said the physics are more refined even from the TT academy demo, yeah I'd say we'd be able to do a lot of things physics based, its about time we can get some wheel lift, we haven't been able to do that since the demio days on GT2.

That FD drift video looked sweet, whatever calculations they used for the smoke is wicked, almost close to the real thing. I can only imagine the awesome drift videos to be had once people get their hands on this. I might even try drifting once again, haven't done that since GT3.

I see someone complaining about the sounds again, it's obvious that the sound in these videos are not full 5.1 so it's going to sound a little compressed. Just go check the sounds in other videos of the full game and hear the difference, I think RDK uses a 5.1 sound set up or stereo, but the sounds in older videos sounds leaps and bounds beyond past GT's. In amar212's write he says that the sounds are very much improved.

A little compressed? On videos where BGM is ON, notice the difference of how the music would sound on your system. You use that as the gauge to base your auditory perception.

going to stir the pot on this some more :)

There was a setting to bump up the sound quality for better sound systems in GT5P, when i finally found the setting and adjusted it, the sound was much much better.. so it could just be (in addition to listening to crappy audio on Youtube) that they could have the game on incorrect sound settings (if of course that option is available in GT5)

Tsukuba is very nice, too bad we wont be seeing a wet\rain version(so far).

HOwever the RX7 video left a sour taste in my mouth because of only ONE thing, when drifting the smoke from behind(as seen from the front) the car is extremely pixelated when blending with the car model, from behind its not an issue, but from the front you can see huge blocks of pixels until the smoke evaporates.

Theres also more disappearing scenery in the Course Maker tracks. This seems to be a common issue among Course Maker tracks(previously in the Eifel video, a mountain pops up)

Watch the Grandstand disappear.

Telemetry only on Premium cars I suppose???

Telemetry is physics based so Standard/Premium doesn't apply.

That plus a myriad of other variables. Capturing sound and reproducing it is no different from video. Except most people are less incline to spend time thinking about the perceived sound than they do with video since the latter is more apparent and conspicuous. The funny thing is, it's simple enough.

The smoke is due to the quality of the video, watch others and you will see it looks great. The dissapearing thing was also spot it @ the ring in one of Tekken's videos, again could be the video it's self ,amar never saw anything like it so it is probably a very rare thing.

Im guessing these glitches might be due to the lack of ram on the PS3.

More realistic photoshoping i think :)

That is NOT from GT5. It is a real life picture. As mentioned a few posts back, you can tell because there is actually a reflection of the side mirror. GT5 does not have side mirror reflections.

The other pics look great. I dont see why people are photshopping some of them though. Well I guess you probably do have to use photoshop to fix the "standard" cars.

Unfortunately the smoke pixellation is visible beacuse of the high quality of that video. I guess people will get used to it but that's how it'll look at high resolution.

remember the guy who took the photos is playing in SD (can't even read the dials on his cockpit views)

About the smoke, you're looking at a compressed Flash-video, not your 52" LCD at 1080p (or whatever you have at home). :)

 You have just photoshopped a real picture mate  I love GT5

I seriously doubt that ,I have seen alot of videos showing smoke and none of them look pixelated,But yes I see your point but even if the smoke is pixelated why would the R8 be .Atleast I hope so :nervous:

answer is simple... photos taken by RDK and the other bloke tekken were taken in PHOTOMODE from replay... and the R8 I posted a few answers back was taken just directly from a replay ;)
So no blurry effect on the photo mode (enhanced graphics) but crappy pixelated effect on the actual replay ;) )
