Captain Purple reporting for duty :D

And Venari in the driver's seat ;) 👍

Dude thats not cool. However neither are Famines shorts!

Zing!!!

Sorry...although most women would take it as a compliment...not that I think Venari is a woman...must stop digging hole :scared:

Kevin Keegan's just been on asking for his old shorts back from Famine ;)

They're longer when I'm not crouching.

I'm sorry we couldn't bring you anything this morning. We probably overstepped what we could report last night, frankly, but Penrose made very clear that all the breakout information and media was under embargo until 0900GMT Thursday. WE intend to stick by it, even if some large games sites choose to ignore it

We have, however, interviewed Kazunori, and that interview is now up on the Blog. We asked a couple more questions about GT5 specifically during the breakout session, but these are also embargoed as far as we're concerned.

Venari presented Yamauchi with a limited edition Aston Martin One-77 presentation pack after the first session, which he seemed surprised by and happy with :D

We've had a play of the latest demo build. Venari reports than the 3D is far superior to the GT5 Beta earlier in the month (though reserves judgement on head-tracking). The XJ13 is as twitchy as hell, especially on the green stuff. I got a run at La Sarthe - updated to 2009 specs - in a Jaguar XKR (it comes in indigo, and I've never seen anyone driving one in previews). Dynamics seemed much improved over Prologue and the Time Trial Demo for GTAcademy - very squirrely under hard braking on the Hunaudieres - but we've still got some question marks about low speed physics. We're not able to replicate the sliding-down-the-banking of Prologue, but the grass is extraordinarily icy. We like the grass cuttings when you go green too :D

Nice one guys 👍

Looking forward to tomorrow mornings latest info and feedback. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the report, sounds like you guys had fun! :D

This is excellent work guys, thanks for all the effort you put in to get the info.

I was thinking school uniform shorts, especially with the white shirt  jk ;)

Robin.

We're also going to try and get some camera time with Penrose Tackie - it'd be a shame not to come all the way here and not get some Sony faces on camera and Penrose is awesome. We have a couple of additional questions for him.

I hear David Reeves is a funny guy. If you guys take any non GT5 footage might as well put it in the PS3 section of the forums.

Looks like they really are on a shoe string, Venari can't even afford food

Actually, I eat like a horse. But you're the second person in recent days to mention this directly. I should contact my dietary advisor (milford_cubicle, on GTP... :D) When I asked my doctor what to do to combat having a second spontaneous pneumothorax (Google it) he suggested I eat lots of pies.

I would like to say, however, it's the camera flash making me look balder than Captain Picard. I am receding a little, but that's ridiculous!

Edit: P.S. My photographs of the Kazunori-san interview will be up later. It was a nice little outdoor chat, which I faded into the background for and snapped away surreptitiously. It was excellent.

We'll be heading back down to the floor for some more play and testing.

We've got video of Venari karting, Venari at various Nueburgring circuits, me at La Sarthe and Andreas at Monza in, I think, the Miura. We'll try to get as much as possible as soon as possible. Monza is spot on though.

Damage is about the same (XJ13 seems to stain, rather than crumple; Volvo C30 started falling apart quite quickly, but we did ram it into another one head on at Indy). Dynamic skidmarks are nice, but need a little work - Venari went back to look at them and they weren't there... then "Oooh!" they appeared...

More to come. Including pictures and videos.

OT

I have a protein smoothie every day (apple juice, blueberries, bananas, red and black raspberries, Haagen Dazs raspberry sorbet, ice and any neutral tasting protein supplement). Over a year with a little (like 30 min a day) more exercise has done wonders.

Thanks for everything guys!
Still wish I could meet you there though. 8(

We're a little "equipment-hindered". We'll certainly have all of our stuff up by the end of Friday - Ven needs to process his RAW images (there is no software or hardware here for the job) and my laptop is the computerised equivalent of a tongue-smear on a short-bus window. I can do text, that's it.

I know you guys got pictures of the KY interview but did you actually film it? It would be nice to see a game site style video interview with multiple camera angles!
