I am also with you. But if history tells us anything expect a release date in either Q1/Q2 2010 (fiscal) for EU and US.

That GamesCon poster stating Q4 2009 (fiscal) is bothering me. Why advertise in Europe at a 2009 release (fiscal) if its Japan only?

Exactly, which is why I still think we didn't hear all the news from TGS just yet. We still got 2 or 3 more days right? Let's wait people, before we jump into conclusions.

i was a little dissapointe as everyone about release date.If is march,that it,we wait til now we can wait another 3-4 month than anticipated,but i remember 1 thing,when gt5p was released,first appeared in japan and 2 month later in europe(hope i'm not wrong),so if march is japan release date that means in europe will come later than march if we judge after gt5p release.Hope gt5 woun't arrive in europe arround summer because would be bad news.Really hope PD to release it sooner.

I know everybody is disappointed about the release date but sometimes it's worth the wait PD is trying their best to make this game as a success As the feature they showed about the mercedes sls, 458 italia I was very impressed. There's probably xbox360 players out there probably joking about ps3 players waiting for GT5 to come out while they're enjoying FM3. But hey look who's going to get the last laugh.

Wat's up with the release date? At one pt Kaz said that the game is ready and can be released anytime. Another time he said, the game will come out shortly after PSP GT5. Now, he says the game wont come out until March, next yr. Wat the blank is going on here? Did Kaz lie to us when he says those sentences, or something bad came up at the last minute? I don't know if this is any indication, but the fact they pushed GTPSP for release with the new PSPGo, directly running into the GT5 schedule, makes me think this was a marketing decision.

If this were true he could have easily said that GT5 will have a worldwise release date at TGS.
He did not, and for a reason.. im afraid this reason is localization.

Another thing.. march 2010 now being the "release date" is BS.
What im saying is that many companies have set their games to be released on march 2010 because it's the most common month to use for next year. (i think the fiscal financial year start at march no?).

Truth is, many of these games will get "delayed" as march 2010 is just a way of saying they will release it in 2010 and earliest at march, but FAT chance it will get delayed.

This sucks.. nothing i can do about it, but im sure as hell not going to read all those "omg my gamestop says GT5 will be released at (insert random date)" threads and posts again.
I'd better stay away from the forums a while, because let's face it..

ok but the difference one time were cuz the ps1 and ps2 were not region free....
now ps3 is region free so they doesn't have to rebuild the game for 50hz or whatever different..
if they late now is only for the language cuz ps3 is region free.... so for me we will wait maximum 2 month after the japanese release..

Has anyone seen any shops change their release dates yet? Im very surprised that i cant find a single retailer jumping on the latest date bandwagon here in the uk.
