He said something constructive that slightly criticized Gran Turismo.

Actually, he posted two lots of flamebait with barely concealed expletives in them and followed it up with a load of tripe which he hasn't yet backed up after I questioned it.

Edit: And then a third piece of flamebait.

That's a big no-no around here.

Praise the hell out the game, no matter how bad it may be, or get out. :grumpy:

Sure.

I may as well.

This forum makes me very angry.

Bored yet? Don't like it, don't buy it, and if you don't like it, why be upset it's not out yet? Go away and stop wasting everybody's time.
damm dude your so taking this to heart
damm if kaz was gay you'd be the first to take it up the ass from him
and then you would feel whole

The several of you should have your own little funhouse together.

Back on topic, anyone see the intro movie yet?

the features you are looking for was not in prologue for a reason. it's called PROLOGUE.

GT fans have went beyond the requests of normal gamers. they want everything. they want it all. hundreds of cars to hundreds tracks, damage that somhow surpassess burnout paradise, dynamic weather, day night cycle.
They want to drive to their own pit stops sighing at the thought of smashing into pit crews, to full blown tires.

in a way i can sympathise with kaz. victim of their own success.

like i said. forza fans are alot more forgiving and easily satisfied. and that in turn helps turn 10

I understand your point, and I'd (personaly) agree that some of the whishes/request that have been posted out here are quite... illusioned... to say the least...

But I disagree however with your "lament" about the "bigger slack" fans should give to PD Dev team. Low level of demanding will always result in mediocrity. The GT saga has reached the point where it is today, setting the standards, exactly due to the high demand they put on to themselves (the best graphics, the more cars, the more tracks, the latest developments)...

So see it this way: a) either PD sleep over their earned credits and, as result, the competition improves and reach GT level or b) either they keep the same philosophy and push the standards even more.

Me, personally as a fan, have the rigth to demand the best. After all is because millions of people like me and you that they still are in business.

You can only achieve excellence if you put in high expectations and level of demand... (and I know it well, since I live in a country where mediocrity is rewarded...)

Well... I only responded directly to you at the time you made the post and provided you with a direct link in the post you've just quoted, so I can appreciate why you're confused...

Yes. And yes.

and ever dropped the clutch into 2nd??

I've dropped the clutch into every gear.

I've driven RWD cars with locked, open and limited slip differentials. I know enough to say, with surety, that the phrase "take of hard in any real RWD car in first and then chuck it into 2nd it steps out" is complete nonsense in every sense.

oops edit: and has a LSD in it

Which is, of course, not what you said.

You clearly said "any RWD car".

Yes. And yes.

well the cars you have driven have been weak as piss, a stock silvia sr20 will step out if you change hard from first to second!!!!!

turbo silvia's come standard with a LSD diff

Are you holding the steering wheel when you're dropping it into second? Are you on even surface? Are you going straight or turning?

While driving on a flat road in a straight line without jerking the wheel, No. Not unless you are in the rain, then it snakes a little. Yes I have driven many SR Silvias.

and Silvias have Viscous LSD's

I've flat shifted a lot of rearwheel drive cars (of varying torque) and to state that all of them should kick the back out when you do so is total nonsense.

It completely ignores factors such as the tyres fitted, road/track surface, temperatues, etc.

To be blunt you are wrong.

Scaff

Yes, of course they have.

Even if that were true (given that you have no idea what I've driven and are just being needlessly aggressive), your original statement was..?

Super. Quick clue - a stock Silvia isn't every RWD car.
