Not just mine, many others.

It's your own fault you people hyped yourselves. Stop cussing, and get off the forums for a couple hours....

I swear, the longer some of you stay, the more infractions and bans that will be coming in the morning.

Do you feel better now? You want a cookie?

You come into the carnage that this thread has devolved into
with an "I told you so comment." How is that supposed to help?

I'll guarantee you more than half the people who read amar's thread--including pretty smart moderators such as Scaff--interpreted him as meaning the game would be released in December. Do you think all those people are stupid?

I doubt we will hear anything valuable before the end of this tgs .. I just wish that hed release the playable demo that hes been showcasing for the last few months.. that would make this so much better

How lame is it going to be to unlock all 900 cars in GT PSP and by the time you get GT5 you already have all the cars

Face it guys, Kaz doesn't give a squat about you or me, he's probably eating caviar back stage right now just itching to drive his Ford GT back to his plush downtown exclusive Tokyo apartment where he can kick back, heavily sedated sipping on 100 year old French wine while Japanese servants fan him with palm branches imported from the deepest depths of the Amazon.

PD is out of touch with it's fans, and I've had enough of it.

Turn 10 may be loud mouth idiots, but at least they pretend to care about their fans.

 Earth, chill the **** out

Kaz has dedicated years and years of his life just so people like you and i can play this game

Saying he doesn't care about us is just not true, the level of detail and content in the GT games is proof of this.

Turn 10 just want to quickly cash in and make money, Polyphony Digital are the real deal.

I have been playing gt5 prologue for so long its not funny and the visuals still blow me away and im still discovering little details that amaze me

Kaz is like a slave to Gran Turismo so the image your painting of him is absolute rubbish

GT5:P you know that little demo SOLD MORE COPIES THAN FORZA 2 an that's with more 360's than PS3. And did I mention is a FREAKING DEMO....

GT5 it still gonna sale a lot and when I mean a lot I mean "the could be #1 game for the PS3"

History has shown GT series is the best selling racing game....

People crying here and old 360's owners are gonna buy a PS3 just for that game AND THAT'S A FACT.

History showed that the stock market was rocketing and if you didn't buy a house 3 years ago you would be permanently priced out.

Past performance is not an indicator of future results.

Seriously, how about instead of talking about GT5 based on the merits of previous GTs, we look at the merits of GT5 in todays terms, not yesterdays games in yesterdays terms.

LOL God i love how every body is freaking the hell out. This thread is pure gold. its like every one is going throught the stages of grieving. LOL

I can understand having some disapointment after that but the anger some of you are showing is absolutly disgraceful. If someone didn't know they'd think somone just shot your mother. It's just a game people, calm down...wait and buy it or don't.. it;s quite simple.

If they released it this year the way we saw it at GamesCom it'd be beaten by Forza 3 in reviews and we'd never hear the end of it. This is for the best!

I didn't tell anybody anything, but I think it's hilarious how many of you got your hopes up & believed you were entitled to so much.

And my posts help a lot more than some of the cry babies in this thread repeatedly swearing.

YES, its concerning that the release date has been pushed back yet again.

Except this is the first and only time a release date has been officially declared.

Very much agreed with the rest of your post, though, I was on the verge of calling it quits with this forum entirely due to all the posts of endless complaining and 'Its the end of the world', etc.

Frankly, worse things have happened, I'd much prefer to wait and have an amazing game in much the same way I'd rather wait and have my food properly cooked so I don't get food poisoning... I can't wait to see what people complain about when the game is actually released.

Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi revealed model details on the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 for PlayStation 3. During Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2009 press conference, the following modes and features were revealed:

* GT Mode: World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.
* Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.
* Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage.
* GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.

While everyone expects a new Gran Turismo game to have improved graphics and physics (don't worry, they're there), the connectivity of GT5 is really interesting. I know loads of gamers that will be thrilled to upload their exploits to YouTube or transfer them to their PSPs to show off their driving skills. The new additions are super interesting and really round out the overall offering.

What do you think of these modes? Anything in particular strike you?

I just don't believe it's over. It cannot be. Kaz wouldn't hype TGS without providing more info or a new trailer.

Just wait some more.

last night I bought a 360 and was nervous about the purchase because I was figuring....

Yo Jtrek, I'm really happy for you and i'ma let you finish but, GT5 is the best racing game of all time!!! of all time!!!

Dev, your to cool to be this way. You really think GT5 is gonna flop? I know you and your smarter then that, come on MAN UP!!!!

Don't let it bother you. This event is 4 days long, as you said.

The only thing I'd be worried about is anymore info coming out & seeing these same complainers come back with more unnecessary comments.

Wonders if he is part of the men group or boys group. Please say men, please say men!!! This thread is actually turning out to be quite hilarious.

I hope all noobs or editor livery lovers or drifters left for fm3.. i am happy to heard the release date.. yes the wait is definitely worth i have played all GT Series. I LOVE YOU KY..

Weird... I have been reading for months that GT was going to smoke Forza 3 and it was already better...

I know that the veteran personalities around here love to tell people to stop complaining and give PD a break. I've been here quite a while, and well, this sucks. Some big advancement. Sure, I have a life and probably wouldn't even play GT5 for more than a few hours a week, but really? I'm not a huge gamer, and GT and the Madden series are about all I play. And the Seahawks SUCK this year in Madden. It sucks, it just does.

How many people are walking out to buy NFS Shift right about now? It may be buggy, but it's probably the best non-prologue racer you'll get until GT5 releases. Although they may rename it Gran Turismo Forever....then we're all doomed.

That'll be so funny.... Haha... seems like that'll be competing with Duke then... I wonder who still fonders him with all the other FPS around....
