So what is the "major advancement" to be announce? the the game still at least 6 months away?

I'm a little disappointed, should have known not to get my hopes up

Kaz has been dic*ing us around for years. I may just have to take a break from the site so I don't get sucked into all the hype, check back next year I guess. Yes the game will be amazing, I just need stop caring until its actually here.

Only thing I heard about this in Kaz's speech was

"As for photomode, it's made the biggest advancement in years." or something like that. That's your big advancement, photomode.

Those two videos embeded are the same footage from Gamersyde, one includes both the 40 second cockpit video and the 2 minute replay video (minus the gamesyde credits) and the other is just the replay video.

We can't tell if damage was included because he never hit anything. Though Gamespot said it appeared damage wasn't included except for a Subaru demo which was also available.

I'm still convinced its grand valley speedway at :43-45 seconds.

There's holes on the wall that gets views on the outside though. If its from Gran Valley Speedway, then it would have to be the tunnel after the bridge.

That is exactly the tunnel I mean. The lights are in the right position, the cornere curves the same way, and the gap between stations seem correct.
