OPM comes in a sealed bag thing I'm afraid.

I might have to resort to paying extortionate amounts of money (£6 for a magazine!), for this months copy (MW2 preview) and next months GT preview.

These days it sometimes comes in a cardboard sleeve thing - was hoping this issue might be one of them :P

Really Gran Turismo 5 came out in 2006, I must have missed it.
Seriously I doubt it's coming out then, it's just a place holder to gather more pre-orders.

That's better. Thing is with shopto.net you get £3 added to your account if they don't deliver by that date. Win-win!

So all the gamestops pre order dates are wrong. But it does not hurt to pre order one copy now!
There is one thing to consider, and that's the GT5 Special Edition. While we're not exactly guaranteed one, it's pretty close to it. And if it's as spectacular as Amar has hinted at, you may want to hold off on a pre-order unless you can switch it to the SE, or don't mind buying two copies of GT5.

I put in my Gamestop order for Vision Gran Turismo in May, 2005. Four years and counting ... it must be out soon :D

Damn thats hard :D

They bring this game before FM3 I´m sureeeeee.... 25 September 2009 sounds perfect for me :) 3 months to go,enough time for Sony and PD to create hype...

I think previews must show images from the game and they got to play it... so if this will be really a preview than we will get this game soon...

this months copy (MW2 preview) and next months GT preview.

Thanks for clearing that up was getting a little confused lol saves me spending £6 for this Months issue and finding out I was wrong lol, 👍

+1
It also fulfils Kaz's comment that GT5 will be here before mobile. Maybe Sony wanted the hype focus on GT Mobile at E3 to springboard the Go and prevent GT5 completly overshadowing it there (as everybody already believes), but that doesn't mean they don't want the actual launches to be close.

If anything, the hype for each game will promote the other, like a giant GT feast ;) Other titles launch multiplatform at the same time all the time, and it's not hard to believe it could be the same for GT, especially if they push the connectivity features between the two titles.

I certainly hope so. I really question anyone at SONY honestly thinking that the average racing gamer would stand there and debate for more than two seconds on whether they'd rather have GT Mobile and a PSP, or GT5 and a PS3. And a Logitech or Fanatec wheel, of course. These games and systems are in entirely different markets.

Yeah, I dont think I'd ever buy a PSP and GT mobile, even if GT5 never came out :P

Yes,thats the point... I don´t think that much will people buy a PSP Go only for GT "mobile"...

And also I think the best hype for GT5 was to get no infos for a long time,in many PS3 forums the threads are exploding if the topic is GT5! no other game gets more attention than this... it will be easy for Sony to create hype for this game...

If there will be a TV spot with only one new spot everyday for example "20 days to release" the people will freaking out...

Not exactly, you get £3 credit added to your account if they fail to deliver by release date, obviously they won't credit you for not supplying a game that's not even out yet.

i dunno what you guys are getting exicited for it will be nothing. They will just tell you what youve already heard. This game will not be coming out this as much as id like it to

Wrong country - but I have found it now... had to actually do a search... it's not listed in any other section...

C.

Oh, I didn't even think to check for that. My bad.

I ended up buying this months copy for the MW2 preview.

And I can confirm that the next issue will (should) feature GT5.

okay, i believe that.. but what does the magazine say? is it a tidbit about E3's trailer and how it will have nascar and WRC?

Or is it a full blown preview about GT5?

Holy crap, the more I see the stuff, i.e. magazine previews, etc....the more I think this game may be coming sooner and sooner.

Here's to hoping!

I just thought of something that would make me squeal with joy. What if GT5 was released before Forza?

I think I'd have to run to a restroom real fast.

I think every Forza fan would too, though for entirely different reasons.

Then most of us would run to a game store for a pre-order, whether they'd admit it or not.

I really need some confirmation on the rims, i was on the GT World Garage page and looked at the Lancer, as far as i can tell the rims are similar (or even the same) but they dont look so glossy (chrome finish?), which could be the lighting. I also cant remember that i have seen that screenshot before.

EDIT: Forget it, the screenshot is old, it was added on March 28 2008 to the official GT5 Prologue site. http://www.gran-turismo.com/gt5p/index_en.html
Sorry, the screenshot is old!
