I am sure you lot have watched it as well but there was yet another interview where Yamauchi said the game could release any time. He did however say they could keep improving it however that would be the case for any game. It just seems he is waiting for a date = Sony has given him a deadline and he is simply going to keep polishing until that time is up.

Don't want anyone to get rattled up however I will be shocked if this game does NOT make it for this year.

Just a heads up, Official Playstation magazine Australia also makes mention of GT5 for their next issue. But it just appears to be more of a e3 recap than any actual news since the picture used is the E3 logo.

Way to go australia! ruin all the hopes of the GT planet faithful!
Just kidding

but yeh who knows.. maybe its a recap of E3 plus new things we don't know about. cause not much was given at E3.

If 25th Sept was a provisional date that got revised, it does not explain why sites like play.com that had a Dec date. Then about 3 weeks ago it suddenly changed to Sept, I personally think September is feasible, especially with Kaz claiming its as good as finished!
Getting a release before Forza 3 would be massive for the PS3 & there's a rumored PS3 price cut in August then GT5 a game that many believe is will drive sales for Sony. They are guaranteed massive immediate sales then steady sales for about 4-6 weeks then its Christmas.
Sept-Oct is perfect timing to get maximum sales. Its also the time of year when TV schedulers start putting out their best TV shows, because summer is ending in the Europe & I guess America for the most part & people start spending more time in front of the TV.

Please stop making sense, i dont want to get too excited again just like i did with GT4 back in the day.. it got delayed sooo much (especially in europe) that i was almost not interested in it anymore.

I can't see it myself, the BBC aren't allowed to advertise. That said, if anyones going to break the rules, you can count on Clarkson.

Perhaps quick mention about the test track being in game, but thats about all they could get away with. I don't see it myself.

They did a whole piece in one show, comparing how a car (Honda NXS I think) handles around the Laguna Seca course on Gran Turismo and how it compared in real life.

opsm france will preview gt5 too next month

I believe EA is holding the NASCAR exclusive right until the end of this year.

Hmm well PD didnt license the whole season and i noticed something in the NASCAR '09 demo, no car has a brand logo or name on it (no Chevy or Toyota logo, no "IMPALA SS" or "CAMRY" written on), so maybe PD just licensed the cars and a small part of the NASCAR series itself (logo).

Anyone consider how the possible 25/09/09 release date links perfectly with TGS?
I really can see Kaz pulling a Steve Jobs at the first day of TGS 09 (24th Sept):

"so here's a video/presentation of what's coming in GT5, and I can confirm it will be available worldwide tomorrow."

of course the possible date works the other way around, in terms of speculation because of TGS.

There is no way the game's release will stay secret if they plan to announce it at TGS to be the 25th of September. I say the announce the 1st of December as the release date at TGS.

Agreed, thats why they will do it in August at the GamesCom. ;)

Now that would be an awesome surprise for sure.

Sorry I missed my quote but you get the point.

amar has some explaining to do then (lol!). September would be a cool release month, though.

A GT5 Sept. release would annoy a lot of people off, and from that I mean all the FM players.

However, I really don't care when it's released as long as it is this year. If it's released this year, this is the year "of the racing games", FM3, GT5, NFS:Shift, Dirt2. Wow!

NASCAR's season will be winding down in the fall and ending in November. I think it's safe to say we'd be seeing GT5 ads during NASCAR races on ESPN and ABC around then.

Good one! lol

Both of the European mags hint at juicy news we haven't got yet. If they have the whole story, well, a good hunk of it anyway, that would indicate to me that GT5 isn't too far off.

Sele1981 naber?
Blowing news are coming on 31th july..Yes Game Convention 2009- cuz GT5p sold out in that region..
Kazunori must be see the sales number.
I am sure he wıll be do something for Europe.

Games Convention is more or less dead.
GamesCom in August is its successor, i doubt we will get any news from the Games Convention anymore.
