Its getting abit worrying that we keep seeing the same pack of cars (the merc, viper, TVR, etc), where are some of the other Ferrari models? or other brand new cars??

Theres going to be "apparently" 7 brand new cars unveiled when the October demo comes out....I did say "apparently" though...

Thats becuase they are the prologue cars. That is why we keep seeing them over and over, if there are only 40 cars then we aren't going to see a bunch of ferrari's just a few, until the final game when we will see more of them.

We're only seeing what's in GT5:P at this stage though, these are just GT5:P's cars.

Oh right, I wasnt complaining or anything, just curious, thanks for clearing it up..:)👍

Although, are these the prologue demo cars (october) or the full prologue cars?

Is it just me, or do pictures 12-14 from the previous page have images from a best motoring video? The cars have best motoring plates.:dopey:

Thats about right I guess.
1. Audi TT 3.2 Quattro
2. Audi R8
3. Suzuki Swift Sport
4. Xanavi Nismo Z
5. Bandai Dunlop SC
6. Ferrari F430
7. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR

Wait nevermind...
Nissan V36 GT-R
Lotus Elise ('96 not the '98 Sport 190)
Nissan Skyline 350GT

Stop thinking right now if you think this should be a chance for GT to flaunt Ferrari like a hooker on a good day. I'm sure we'll see a lot more different cars in the coming weeks and months. I, like a lot of GT fans, would be interested in seeing what kinds of cars show up in the next batch of "Gran Turismo 5: Prologue" pictures. I think PD's making due with whatever cars they've completed so far. I wouldn't fear or get overly bored at this point. Who knows? Maybe PD will show off the Enzo in future pictures and have all the "fanboys" and "fangirls" peeing in their underwear (mostly "fanboys") at the sight of an Enzo in a GT game. Maybe we could see the latest hardtop Viper. Wait a little longer. Maybe we'll see more awesome or interesting cars in future pictures. Fear not, mates.

Does anyone know why this Nissan GT-R is covered up if Duct Tape?

Apparently because Nissan has not yet "unveiled" the new model, but PD managed to get Nissan to allow them to have a pre-release "stealth" livery of the new model, and PD will "unveil" the car when Nissan does... although the front and rear bras are hardly hiding anything significant, like many stealth pre-production models where additional body panels are used to cover up the actual body work.

Thats a new model. I thought it was just a Nissan GT-R covered up in duct tape. It looks pretty much the same as the one behind, apart from the mirrors.

Not only that but you can also see the number plate holder. But thats about it.....

It is the same GT-R mule that Nissan has been running around for the past year. The car, with the exact same covers on the front, rear, and door handles, ran at Goodwood this year. You can tell it is different from the GT-R Proto by looking at the shape of the "nostrils" on the hood and the completely different wing mirrors.

Haha SkidMark gave me a good idea, you should be able to use duct tape when in the livery editor to make cool silver decals or to hold that body kit on

Some great shots on this thread by the way. Really whets the appetite for what is to come. 👍

However, anyone get the impression that all these 'in game' or 'engine' screen shots are a bit heavy on the AA - like it has been cranked to artificial levels?. I just don't see the final game looking anywhere near this smooth. I have not seen one jaggy anywhere.

Really looking forward to this one - it will be soon time for many to dust off their DFPs and G25s. :)

If I'm not mistaken, that white German sportscar in the middle is not a Ruf. All Rufs have a Ruf logo. It is a 997 GT3.
That is correct, but the screen shot is from GT TV, a new feature in GT5 that will allow users to download and watch episodic content, like car shows and races... thus explaining why that is a Porsche and not a Ruf.
