BkS actually posted this on page 124 watch the video. 👍
But i think the biggest surprise is if Porsche came and said hi at the event.
Me too. I want Porsche soooo bad. But I wouldn't get my hopes up.
And besides, RUFs are still really fun! (When you know how to properly control them.)
Yep, Porsches would be amazing to have but right now I just wish GT6 have a BIG fleet of RUFs... from the 80's to now... Yellowbird, RGT, CTR, CTR2, RGT8, RT12, RTurbo... ALL PREMIUM, of course.
You have no idea how bad I want a premium CTR I can put a wing on (that car seriously needs more downforce) and a premium BTR. If PD added that, I would push the Ford GT '06 aside and say the BTR is my favorite car.
I want a bit different, I just want a RUF that I can remove the wing and get the classic Carrera look. Wing removal + livery editor = I don't need official Porsches for a while.
(I know I'll probably explode in a giant ball of fire and metal parts @ the ring in a wingless RUF, but who cares? I'll die having fun! )
I want a basic 911 of the early-mid 70s, normally aspirated and basic. I know RUF made the 3.2 litre SCR which was non-turbo before the BTR and CTR came along, so I'd settle for that. It did have a big turbo-alike wing though iirc so doesn't fit in with my "basic" 911 wish.
MulanOf course GT6 is announced 6 Days before Microsoft will probably reveal their console and probably new Forza. PS4 version is a must now.

Forza? Let them have the next-gen launch, GT6 is coming to PS3.
I want a 911 (or similar) in GT6 to actually handle like a 911 does, rather than convincing a generation of players that all the 911 layout does is oversteer and try and kill you.I want a basic 911 of the early-mid 70s, normally aspirated and basic. Forza is unlikely to be a launch title for the same reason that GT is, the user base will not be in place to warrant it.I don't want to bring this off topic about M.S. >__> But I think PGR5 is rumored to be at M.S.'s event, not Forza others said.
Okay back on topic: I heard that the Nissan 375Z concept was the car under the blue sheet? Hmm.

Sorry, but it a major bugbear of mine.
Looks loose to me.
Your point?

Luckily he's not the worst driver on this planet.
I bet myself that it would take less than a day for that video to get posted up.Looks loose to me.
Source - http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evolongtermtests/62695/porsche_911_carrera_2.htmlEvoThe steering pad at Millbrook is essentially a barren concrete wasteland with circles within circles painted on its surface. The idea is to drive round and round like a dog chasing its tail and discover what the car will do at the limit with acres of run-off to inspire confidence. And what does the fearsome 911 do initially? Understeer. Between about 38 and 40mph the front end's limit is gradually breached. At first you can apply more lock and the nose will come back to you, which seems curious, but eventually it will wash completely wide. Apply more power and you just continue to rip tread off the front tyres. So you lift off. This is where things can become interesting. If you lift off gently then you'll bring it all back into line and continue going around the circle, making yourself dizzy. However, if you back off sharply and completely then even on the abrasive concrete the back end will swing around. You feel it coming, slowly at first as it gathers force. Then it tugs the back wheels loose. Lyon says you can prevent lift-off oversteer by instantly taking off an eighth of a turn of lock, but this has to be predictive rather than reactive and takes practice. It's initially easy to catch the 993 when it oversteers but the bite really comes if you don't straighten the wheel again quickly enough. Take the lock off again in a flash or the momentum will overtake you much faster than before and you'll be at the mercy of the pendulum behind you.
Somebody is derailing the hype train.
Not really trying to defend it, but with certain tunes I tested, I seriously suffered from understeer. Of course did it oversteer if you forced it to oversteer, but that was the smaller issue. Before you think that must have been some stupid, extreme and impractical settings, I must disappoint you. They all looked alright and drove decently. The RUF's in GT5 will power-over with almost no hint of understeer at all and I hate to burst peoples bubbles but its not how it should be behaving. Its a known issue with GT5's tyre model that doesn't correctly model the differing tyre widths. Feel free to defend it all you like, personally I would rather they sorted out the tyre model and got it right.

Also, you can force a car into understeer and you can also force a car into oversteer, I'm aware of this.
2.0 improved things but is still not right and continued throttle at 30 to 40 should not then give you oversteer, a lift should be needed. Without a lift the load is all still at the rear and the front tyre have little load and as a result little grip.carracerptpAny thing in GT5 under ~35mph is wayyyy off. And the RUF understeers until you give it to much gas. Before the 2. somthing update, online, it was ridiculous, 100% oversteer. Now it feels right.
The car can get this "dead" kind of feeling and you can't tell what the car is doing.
