You're gonna have to let us know what editing software you are using before we can help you. You also need to be more specific in what effects you are referring to.

Oh well, i use GIMP and Pixlr (basically the same as photoshop) and i really like your effects too so it might be a good start to know which effects you use and blabla.

As a natural progression of car racing, cars will get faster, so race tracks will need to change to slow the cars and protect the drivers. The Circuit de la Sarthe was no exception and in 1972 it had another transformation. The public road, by a white house (“Maison Blanche”), that cars raced by, was re-routed into what is now called the Porsche Curbs. Here, I recreated a Dino 246GT racing in this new road during the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 246GT came to be at Enzo Ferrari’s interest in racing in FIA Formula 2. Back then, a “true” Ferrari’s motivation was of the 12 cylinder flavor, so in honor of the 6 cylinder engine co-designer, the car was badged as a Dino, Ferrari’s then deceased son. In this race, the Dino 246GT, no. 46, chassis no. 02678, reached its most prestigious position in its racing history. The car formed part of Luigi Chinetti’s privateer team, the North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T.) and driven by Gilles Doncieux, Pierre Laffeach and Yves Forestier, to a 17th place overall finish, 7th in class.

I took more than 80 shots (x2 resolution) to be able to do this single view.
9 horizontal panoramas, 1 vertical panorama, lots of retouches due to camera distortion and 8+ hours of editing. :) Still not perfect though.

1 of 80+ (x2 res)

For the blurred background effect I use zoom blur. Duplicate your image layer then go to Filter > Liquify. Use the brush to bring the edges of the car towards the center of the car (front & back). This will prevent any blurred remnants of the car from being seen.

Then go Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. A dialogue box should appear. Select Zoom and make sure the preview lines are aligned with the perspective of the image. Use the slider to adjust the strength of the effect. Once that's done add a layer mask to the blurred image and use a soft black brush to hide the areas you don't want. In this case, it's the blurred car. It should reveal your original image underneath. Use a white brush to bring back what you've masked.

I also use gradient maps and change the layer blend mode to soft light. This alters the tone of the image and also increases the contrast depending on the gradients you select/create.

Infact on behalf of everyone...MAKE SOME BLOODY TUTORIALS!!!

This. Please! Some tips from the masters would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently acquired Photoshop and have been practicing a little when I can. Awesome program and I'm amazed at what can be done. I have found YouTube great for tuts. Watch a bit and practice one thing at a time etc. Fun.

Edit, Worked on this one for about 40 mins. Easily better than my old stuff.

Awesome shoot mate.

Ha, you got to be kidding, right? I'd say you're more than capable of blowing us all away. ;)

I for one am waiting for one your creative works. I hope your planning on doing something soon. Your quality pieces are sorely missed. Well by me they are.

By tradition, Lamborghini, names its cars by the name of famous fighting bulls. In this case, the car’s model name is in honor of a bull who fought and died after many hours in the ring at the sword of the “matador” José Lara "Chicorro" Jiménez in 1869. The bull was a breed from the stables of the Duke of Veragua in Spain. The name, “Diablo”, spanish for the Devil. Ronda, Spain, was a calm and peaceful place. Until, Kaz came by with his GT6 crew and the whole place went to hell with this devil!

Vision Gran Turismo

I thought i'd better stick something up here so none of you forget about me.

I do love my sunny pictures as many of you will know and having found a great location to take a picture i just couldn't resist completely adding as much atmosphere and sunny weather (with a touch of misty morning air) as i could.

If only pictures out of GT6 didn't need any weather effects added to them it'd save us all alot of time!

Anyway, hope you don't all laugh too hard at another slice of my usual mediocrity!

Thanks for looking
👍
