I woke up this morning and went to GTPlanet, where I saw this post about the car physics not doing well.

Oh god... what did they do the physics, dude? My game is still updating on my PS4 (Edit: The game finished updating), and now I think this may not be a good update after all.

I know some of you younger folks are probably tired of games being broken are are triggered by things like, but I've been playing GT for 25 years and I can live with one ACTUALLY, REAL and HILARIOUS mis-step. I think PD has earned a bit of grace.
Some of these folks never saw the Jeffrey statue flip over on Daytona USA and it shows!

While this specific misstep is indeed comical within a vacuum, it is a part of a larger pattern of immersion/game breaking decisions that rightfully pisses people off.

In the industry or GT? I feel like those are 2 different talking points

I'm referring to GT specifically but don't want to derail this thread. Again, I 💯 agree with you that this is a comical bug. But I also feel that level of aggravation you're witnessing is at-least partially due to a laundry list of game breaking decisions by PD that span months/years.

"Laundry list of game breaking decisions?" Miss me with the drama. This is the first and clostest to an actual "game breaking" decision.

I didn't had any problems on that race. I used Racing Softs and have a racing suspension.
It may be because I think my Jimny is engine swapped as well. I didn't really think it. I just pulled my Jimny from the garage, which I believe is engine swapped, wide bodied and has 3 tunes for dirt, snow and tarmac. I chose the tarmac and this was my first go. Needless to say, that tune does not work with the new physics! :D

1.07 was much closer, and did actually break the game for a solid 30 hours.

This issue is merely hilarious and only possible at specific, extreme vehicle settings.

Oh... You're one of "those" GT fans... I won't waste my time with you lol. There is a degree of subjectivity to which bugs are "game breaking" for some. I was merely trying to provide a bit of context for why some people are frustrated. But you're obviously a GT stan lol.
