2 new "Rally cars" for the line up

I must wonder if we'll be seeing the rest of the Lan Evo and Impreza WRX STI models for the next few months like what happened with the Silvia range. All the CT9A and GD models, they can be considered as facelifts like the R32 Nismo to the R32 V spec II.

Surely there's changes in each individual car's performance but their similarities are enough to make the ungrateful community seethe at a duplicate car.
Meanwhile I’m wondering how Gran Turismo 7 still doesn’t have the Evo 9 and the one time Polyphony decides to add another Evo to the game post launch, they chose the Evo 3 over the Evo 9 despite the popularity of the Evo 9.

Pretty cool with the new Rex and Evo drops. I LOVE me some Evo. Want the VIII and IX (in that order!) since those were the only ones commercially available in the States (other than the X but it's already in the game).

Valkyrie had better not be hidden behind the * invite system.

Interesting set of cars. I think I quite like the unpredictability.

This is the fifth road car Evo (III, IV, V, VI, Final) - I wonder if that's enough for a Evolution Meeting bonus menu a la Silvia Sisters?
I’m not seeing the unpredictability. Usually there’s one new and interesting car and the others are different versions of something already in the game.

3 nice car additions. All 3 with a large fanbase, and the Evo and WRX are generational variants which is unlike the "trim" difference that we had with the pitiful R32 Nismo when we already had the V-Spec II.

Won't mind next if we get the GD, GE (this is the car represented in the Weight Reduction pictures lol), GF (we have a Gr.3 and Gr.4 variant but not the road going version lol) and the GK, as long as all of them are the most desirable (for most of us at least it is) WRX STi version.
All of them are very different from each other.

Same with the Evo, although the Evo I and II are very similar to the III and the Evo VII, VIII and IX are very similar to each other... And actually even the V and VI are similar to each other but they are both in the game already. So in this case I wouldn't mind if they just forget about the I and II and add later just one of the remaining VII, VIII and IX models.

The Valkyrie is really unexpected. All that's left to have the trackday hyper car grails is the Huayra R and the AMG One. I'm still ingesting large amounts of hopium that I'll see the day that Gran Turismo has Koenigseggs added to the game.

As far as cars go it gets a respectable 3/5 rating. 3 good cars, but aside from the Valkyrie, the others aren't enough to get people interest to get back into the game, and the other bad thing is that it's only 3 and not 4 or 5 like we saw them do in other updates.

Evolution and Impreza Extra Menus coming is almost a guarantee with this update lol.

Still waiting for the true Endurance Races and actual noteworthy GT Championships... It's been 16 months.

The unpredictability in this one for me is there being two returning cars in one update when they've only added 6 or 7? returners across all the previous updates.

So now with the Valkyre, what are the other "track-only supercars" we got in this game?

AMR Valkyre, Vulcan, P1 GTR, Zonda R, FXX K...Did I missed any other? I would add the Renault R.S.01 to the list but that one is a full-blown racecar.

And I wonder if we will get a Bugatti Bolide next, seems natural.

They are on the way. Only one that will be missing is the VII Evo...

It has pavement, curves, hills, a grandstand, and a pit road. You go real fast, then slow down and turn. Then you go real fast slow down and turn again and you do it a few more times after that. 🥴
Sorry, couldn't resist!
So, not Talladega, any other oval, or a dirt track.
In real life there are very few cars where you needed an invite. Most uber expensive cars you just needed to show up very early with a boatload of cash. Ferrari are the primary invite-only brand for their limited editions. A few others have tried it with very, very limited editions only.
Like Aston Martin - the Valkyrie is by invitation only in real life.

I did mention that the post-launch Bugatti Chiron was not made invitation only despite the car it replaced in real life, the Veyron, being an invitation car.

On the bad side, it seems like we definitely returned to 3 car pack update old days. On the bright side, at least those 3 are very nice and welcome additions to the car roster. If PD adds a new layout or track, or at least some interesting events, this could be a very nice update!

I wonder what the next quintet of engine swaps will be? I still had some engines that, by sheer coincidence, only fit into one car each so far, namely the engines from the D1GP BRZ, the Aventador SV, and the Corvette C6 ZR1.

I personally would add, or would like to have rather instead of the AMG or Pagani, the GMA T.50.
That’s a pretty light car with enough power to compete with the Aston, there’s not a lot of light cars like this being produced anymore.
