Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

On PS4:
Kyoto Driving Park Miyabi layout, there's a framedrop issue just before the final chicane.

Brands Hatch Gr.4 has audio popping all over the damn place, highly unnerving.

Literally in the thumbnail can see whats wrong

Meeting place -> load any car and drive -> switch vehicle -> load in and drive and the glitch might happen
I can do this consistently with any vehicle now

How do you get the bigger wheels on t the kart?

Dont if this has been posted here, but championship intro BGM (the one that plays on rolling start, like in Asia pacific, pan america etc etc ) doesnt play on race restart

Which software are you using? I used to have similar problems and were related to a view value of the original file.

I found that a good workaround in Inkscape is to import the SVG in a new file, not opening it directly, then save it again.
I've just been using a website to convert the logos into SVG files then saving them in the browser and putting them into the GT7 website. I have two folders for the logos, the ones I get off Google and the ones that I've converted to SVG files.

I'll try that cheers!

Just went to edit the livery that was currently on my car,
1 Went to GT Auto,
2 then Car Customisation
3 selected Livery Editor
4 selected Open Design
5 Selected the livery from my list and all the decals immediately disappeared from my car
6 selected Edit Design and all decals are gone when I entered the livery editor.

Tried several other liveries and some are blank, some are ok.

The liveries where I have saved the 'style' are unaffected, where I haven't saved the 'style' the liveries are blank when selected. (subsequent saving of the 'style' makes no difference, livery is still missing all decals)

This was allegedly fixed with update 1.07/1.08

Also noticed framerate drops at Spa in a few places

Hello. How are you? I am frustrated that there is no way to contact directly to report bugs or suggestions, if there are a way I have not seen them.
Yesterday I bought De tomaso Mangusta 69' and I can't correct the direction when it starts to oversteer, I know it's difficult because it's a RR but playing with a Logitech G29 steering wheel when I want to correct the direction in game the steering wheel and the wheels don't turn, when I end up crashing against the wall just there the steering wheel in game reflects the direction that I did in Logitech, I consider it to be a bug because I have driven Camaro Z/28 and Mustang Boss 429 and several RR and in all of them there is a clear synchronization of the logitech steering wheel and the steering wheel in game, I also mention that I play without any kind of assistance from the game, except ABS.
Thanks!

quite a few cars are known to have severe handling glitches...unfortunately the De tomaso is one of them

I managed to establish that this happens to liveries that have been previously imported from GT: Sport. One I've done from scratch in GT7 is okay. I hope this a server thing that will go away.

Suggestion (or more like a wild guess) - - - maybe try downgrading the front tires relative to the rears to balance out the front/rear adhesion. I used to do that with certain cars in GT Sport.

hello! Believe me I tried several configurations, the power of the mangusta is stock, the only thing I modified suspension, brakes and tires because I like to have the classic car and as much stock as possible, but after trying the car for the first time, it was undriaveble so I modified those pieces to tweak the balance of the car, but the problem is that when the car starts to oversteer to the left, for example, and I try to correct it by turning my steering wheel to the right, the in game steering wheel is locked to the left, and when I hit the wall at that moment the in game steering wheel turns to the right to synchronize with my steering wheel. I'm afraid I don't know if I can explain it better, tomorrow when I get back from work I'll try to make a video.
thanks for your interest!
regards

This actually isn't true. Yesterday I was about to modify a livery for a 350Z that I made from scratch in GT7 and all of my decals got wiped. Very annoying bug, though it happens inconsistently.

Oh, okay. Must have been a coincidence for me, then.

The problem persists today.

Is this a thread developers look at? Anyway, my issue is: I play without HUD and when I pit in Options there are not visible, I just see the pointer and click, but I don´t see what I choose. (Tyres, Fuel, Repair)

It would also be very nice to have in the future a championship-creator (for offline) and Options for Qualifiying, Practice...

I'm pretty sure the developers check this thread (or similar ones in other social media) in some capacity. In any case, the officially acknowledged bugs can be found here: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/news/ under the Known Issues posts.

This happened on a livery I created in GT7 from scratch, wasn't imported from GT Sport

Fully Customisable Transmissions...seem rather broken...All I get is a stupidly long final gear regardless how I set the gearing.

Can you please tell me if you still have the issue? It is persistent for me. Any idea if it means the liveries are lost?
If you choose to edit them, you will lose the livery. If you back out before editing it, it will still remain in your car. Also, if you create a new livery based on the already applied design, you can also re-save your current livery as a new one with all the decals intact.

Technically, to be 100% safe that your design will not be wiped when trying to edit it, you should always create a new livery based on your current applied livery (until they actually fix this bug).

Thank you. One more question, so I am sure I understand. Do I still lose the livery if I attempt an edit, but not save and just leave editing? If so, I have done that on a number of them and it would be pretty unfortunate.

I think the livery will be intact if you leave editing, but I am not entirely sure.

I've actually found the framerate drop to be noticeable everywhere when using bonnet cam...game will even freeze for a moment at the start of a new lap

Issue is still there. I have to create a new livery based on the existing one to be able to edit it. The painted parts of the livery are correct, it just keeps losing all the decals.

Very frustrating considering they claimed to have fixed it

Yeah I ran into this about an hour ago, had to do exactly that. Creating a new style based off the existing seems to fix it though.

I’m sure someone has said, if you save it as a style it’s ok? I have an S15 livery that’s a wip but forgot to save it as a style so may just have to wait until it’s 100% fixed until I finish it!!

Yes, stuff I had saved as styles is alright. I just haven't used styles much. Tend to focus on Gr.3 and Gr.4 and you can't change anything on those other than wheels so styles don't mean much.
