Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

Since the 1.09, my game freezed now 5 times when I do a photo in a replay. I have to close the game, freezes when the progression bar of the rendering it's full and keeps this way forever

Game Crash incident- repeatable...
When you are in Livery Editor and you want to paint car with purchased paint, as soon as you click on the button for Special Paints the game crashes. This did work properly BEFORE the 1.09 patch.
 
Just about now, when I go into a race, the brakes on my cars start to automatically lock up and won't go anywhere at all.

Update: Left trigger broke, not a bug

Anyone else have their Fanatec Podium F1 DD wheelbase with Button Module Endurance, Advanced Paddle Module & CSP v3 pedals randomly disconnect? It's a PS5/GT7 issue as I've been using the same gear on PC in ACC for well over a year with zero incidents. Firmware is all up to date. 🤷‍♂️

There's a decal on the "other" section of one of the liveries I imported from Sport, and every time I click on the "other" tab in the editor, the game freezes indefinitely with the music still playing. Car is SLS Gr.4. Not sure if imported liveries are crashing for anyone else, but this exact same issue also happened on the Sauber C9.
 
Yesterday night in Sport mode Nations Cup Races (3) I couldn't play clearly. First race black screen occurred. Second race couldn't start from pit lane so my qualy time doesn't count and started 20th. 3rd was same. The problem is last update has patch for this but not active I guess. So bad.

Here is a fresh video I made of the problem, tried to use the built in video capture of PS4 but it stops recording as soon as crash occurs, so I did it from my phone.



Painting the car with ordinary colors does work, just not the special paints

My game crashed right after the qualify session a few minutes ago and it stays here forever i can only close the application

I have been down this path before.

That error code is usually, although not always, caused by a hardware problem, typically involving reading from disk. It can happen in any game at pretty much any point, but usually is repeatable as you have seen. It is unlikely that anyone else will be able to reproduce this error at the same point you get it. I can not.

The error code seems to be the result of some data corruption, and the reading of that corrupted data.

Often a reinstallation of the game will fix it. If not, then if you have replaced the internal drive, then there may be a fault with that "new" drive. If so, and reinstallation doesn't fix it, then back up everything you can, and do a full reformat of that drive, including over-writing of all sectors. Then reinstall everything, and you should be good.

Another possible path for you is to install the game on an external drive or SSD and see how that goes. But do NOT copy the game from the internal drive because that may copy the corrupted data along with the good stuff. Any questions, ping me.
 
Not sure if these are 'bugs' but I've noticed a couple of weird things:

1. World GT Series Championship - Spa: frame rate dropped badly in the first couple of laps of the race (playing on digital version on PS4
2. Championships - Entry screens: "Your record" denotes how well you did in the first race of the championship and not overall result.
 
Noticed a bug with the AE86 Sprinter Trueno that popped up in the used car dealership today. When looking at it in the menus/scapes the interior of the car is blue but when racing using the chase cam or viewing a replay the interior is red like the Corolla Levin. It’s blue like it’s supposed to be when racing with the interior cam.

Ok thank you, I will do the delete / reinstall thing but should I do the PS4 HD remapping? Before reinstalling?
Have not replaced drive, just a few games, not more than half full

I would just try delete and re-download first. See if that fixes it.
 
I was collectors level 31 with only 256pts to 32 after getting Red Bull for Licence golds.
Today I have finished second set of Missions and got cars - now I'm level 29 with 17k points to 30!
When looking from world map, it still shows 256 points to next level.

Hi guys,

My car is just…stuck 😅 actually pedals are working fine when it’s rolling start and also it starts when i’m trying with a pad. Pedals are working fine in the other games. Thrustmaster T-LCM. Any solutions?

Ok, update to my initial problem of special paints, deleting and reinstalling the game did not work, game works fine in all respects but still crashes when selecting special paints in livery edit. Sent the report with description as provided by the PS4 system hoping someone reads it and they hey working on it. This crash is not deal breaker of a crash, it just means I cannot use any of my purchased paints on my cars, the rest of the GT7 works fine as I can tell.
In the blue screen right after crash it suggested I update the application and or the PS system software, well that had happened shortly before I noticed the crash with the 1.09 update on GT7 and the PS4 had recently recieved an update also 9.50 I think.
Before the 1.09 GT7 update the paints were accessible and therefore I do believe it may be the root cause...
System info: PS4 slim and the internal HD is just above half full.
I am wondering if anyone else had seen this crash?

I've just bought the hellcat safety car and I've added nitrous, I made sure it was on in the car settings but it's not there when I go to race.

Nitrous is automatically disabled in online races
 
As mentioned here, there seems to be a bug involving social items that have the hash symbol in it - decal names containing it can crash the game, for instance.

Another one. I was trying to figure out how the new MINI I’m building, has a higher PP than the one I already built. I had not fitted the final engine parts nor the Fully adjustable Manual transmission(not the race transmission). As shown in the video of the first MINI built, the gearing reverts to the default.
Tried selecting a new sheet, uninstalling and re-installing the part. No dice.



I selected the Normal transmission and the PP is now 513. A bit of waste of Cr.

It wasn't an online race, it was an arcade race.
