Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

Nations Cup Tournament.
I was racing April 1st for the second test run of the Nations Cup tournament, I had completed 4 of the 5 races and just finished the qualifying for the last race. in the 30-45 seconds in between the Qualifying and the race as the "final" race was loading my game froze and I had to restart my playstation and lost all my previous score.
I tried to contact playstation support but after a VERY brief 5 line conversation the tech told me to "go re-do the race" and disconnected me from the chat. When I tried to speak with a different person at playstation I always get "disconnected from operator" right away, as they seem to drop my chat request about this.
 
missing decal from super formula they say deleted from gts, thats bs as ive still got it in my collections 🤬 you try adding a new decal and it doesnt show until you add depth then remove depth
 
So,i've run into a little problem using the AMG CLK-LM '98 at World GT Series, after the 2nd race at Spa the PP is changing and when i click "next race" i've been booted out to World Circuit screen and my PP is over 800(800.05),was 799.95 at start of series, it's happened 2 out of 3 times i've tried the series.
Have to re-start the series.

I went into tuning screen and dropped my PP to 799.75 but at race start screen my PP is showing 799.83

Edit: ran all 5 races clean at 799.83, all good, i guess just stay under 799.89, in case it adds 10 after Spa:boggled:

How and why would PP change in races?
 
I have a bug too . I Make on the ps 5 the trophy the Final and if i try to Make the trophy on the ps4 it doesnt work. I drive the Final competition on the ps 4 and i Never get the trophy . Is that a bug or i Make something wrong? I can Never get the trophy on the ps4? If not i will Never get the platinum trophy
 
Ok so I am on ps5 with Retracing mode on and installed on the ps5 ssd. It’s is Physical copy of the 25th anniversary edition.

-for some reason I have 2 installed of the ps5 version on my ssd

- in sport mode race mid race i start getting fps drops like crazy and these drops don’t happen in Single player mode

- online lobby are complete bugged, races can not start and If u Spectate the race you need to restart the game because it gets a black screen.

25th Anniversary came with the PS5 version, PS4 version, and the soundtrack as a PS4 demo. Are you sure you didn't also install the PS4 version?
 
Penalty systems needs some serious rectification...
1. when you get smacked from behind and bump car in front = Penalty
2. A new one today in Race A... yellow flags waving so no overtaking on main straight. Excellent, I get that. But when you pass a car that's taking a 3.00 sec penalty why do I get a 3.00 sec penalty for overtaking??
and 3... why aren't habitual kamikaze pilots given severe penalties to drop them say 10 secs behind the last car lol

And where the heck can we report bugs to Polyphony??

2 people overtook me and others during a yellow flag a few nights ago (I was dutifully remaining stuck behind someone else) and neither of them got penalties. The yellow flag penalty system doesn't work.
 
AI is not using full potential of cars, not even on straights!

I was driving custom race with cars from my garage, Difficulty "Professional". AI Driver with "my" car was on straight much slower than me. AI needs to get faster. What about Sophie? ;)
 
I've noticed that sometimes in online mode, I will hear a noise whenever i hit the button to downshift (X). I suspect the game has me stuck in the game menu and race at the same time, so when I hit X it's trying to exit menu while also downshifting. Very annoying.

dont think they are fps drops. maybe lag induced stuttering
 
After Bugatti and Aston Martin, I got a new invitation for another dealer in the European section. Problem is, the game does not show which one it is, and even aftet looking at every single one, there IS NO dealer with an invitation. That means I have to wait even longer for the Carrera GT, and in the worst case, will never be able to buy it. Thx PD, as always, amazing job!

Sooo, I've imported some liveries from GTS into GT7 to redo them, replace missing decals etc, but didn't save them as styles yesterday as I hadn't finished them. go into GT Auto to finish them off today and the decals will not load. Now, in the livery selection page the liveries show up as they should in the thumbnails, as soon as I apply or try to edit the livery, all decals disappear so I'm left with just the base paint colour. In the livery editor NO decals show up, at all, the right hand decal bar only shows "apply new".

Anyone have a fix for this at all? saved "styles" seem to be ok, it's just my work in progress liveries that have this issue.. I'm on PS4 if that helps diagnose the issue. I spent about five hours on these two liveries and not happy about losing all that time spent.

Anyone know where we can post bugs to PD?
 
After warmup in Race A the loading screen comes up and never loads... I waited 15 minutes the 2nd time this happened in Race A. I had to close GT6 and restart the game.

So... the setup sheet dissapear bug is still present. I've entered tuning show with my fully tuned Audi R8 and after checking one of the parts all my parts (and settings) were turned to default and settings sheet name turned blank.

Two bugs I've encountered in the World Tracks->Time Trial mode:

1) Already set lap times aren't registered on the leaderboard if the player pauses and restarts the run.
2) After changing cars a couple of times the ghost car fails to appear.

1) Not a bug - this was also the case in GT Sport, you have to finish the run properly for lap times to be registered, which makes sense really.
2) I have noticed this on several Time Trials I have made...usually stops working when I change to a 3rd car.

I can only think that you have the Assist Settings (where you set your ABS, ASM, TC, etc) set to Automatic Transmission...the game is telling you to set it to manual...

When driving without hud (show race info: off) you cannot see the tyre options in the pits, which means that you can’t change tyres.

Also, there is no way to assign ‘show race info’ to a button so that you can toggle it while driving. That would be SO useful!!

I find it so frustrating that so much of this game was not properly tested before release, this is just a classic example of that.

In the livery editor...the colour picker tool, where you set the HSV values...the S and V values are swapped, ie the Saturation sets the Value and the Value sets the Saturation. I was wondering why my colours were coming out wrong all the time.

Trying to create a Custom Race at a track...when I try adjust the Rolling Start Interval it sticks on 15m and wont change regardless what I set it at - it starts at 20m but as soon as you try to change it it keeps going to 15m.
 
I tried searching this thread for a similar issue, but found nothing.

I've noticed that after installing an anti-lag system on one of my cars, it think it was an EVO 4, some of my N/A cars seem to sound like they have an anti-lag system installed, in particular the 997 GT3. They make that deep gurgling noise any time I completely let off the accelerator from a high rpm.

Or maybe I'm just kinda dumb and that's how a 997 sounds with a racing exhaust...

Yea this sounds like a bug. I use AT but when I do drag races it just automatically changes it to MT for the drag races

You have to use manual transmission in the settings/assists. It's just part of the challenge of that particular mission, like how drifting requires traction control to be turned off.

In replays, the time interval to the car ahead and the car behind is only displayed as dashes --:--.---
