Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

This is a faulty premise. Just because it's fine for other games and only happens in GT7 doesn't mean that you can rule out the internet connection entirely. Yes, it's to do with how GT7 uses it, but it's still related to connectivity.

While much of what follows in this helpful pinned thread deals with online multiplayer, it is nonetheless solid advice to optimise your connection across the board:
So what I said is not enough? OK, here is an Update for you with extra detail: All other Liveries I apply on the Car load perfectly. Only my own single livery doesn't. It has stayed like this for 2 days now.

EDIT: It works!! I somehow managed to get the Livery to load and applied it to my Car. I was rushing through the GT Auto menu when it happened. I finally finished the dang Livery & uploaded it. Now I'll just stay away from making Liveries for this long for the next year, I don't want any more work loss headaches.

I just got a Supra, took it for a spin on Autopolis.

It looks like I can only take it for a literal spin, as for some reason countersteering is not working in the faster corners. I'm on controller (PS4), cockpit view, and it seems like the guy can barely turn the wheel the opposite side when I start to slide, so I end up spinning. When the car slows slows down (as the nose is nearly in the wall), the power miraculously goes back to his arms and he is able to turn the wheel completely.

I only got the game about 2 weeks ago, and this wasn't an issue so far. All assists are turned off, only ABS is on. Anyone else had similar issue?

I don't suppose you lowered the suspension

Is that it? Jesus, I am stupid, a Leclerc would say. I mean yeah, I put on sports suspension, and it seemed a little low, but I thought the wheel will just clip through, like in GT Sport. Whoops. Apologies.
Haaahaa... Yeah it's a crazy trap that many seem to have fallen into.... What I don't understand is why they didn't add a huge noise to let you know when the tyres are scrubbing. So that's really the bug you reported

I was just thinking about it, that they could've added either a little exclamation mark when I go 'over' the limit, or put into the description in the tuning shop that I should pay attention to ride height (I actually read those). Anyway, this is off-topic now I think.

I have no more tickets for the daily training. Has this already happened to anyone else?

Finished making all fifteen IROC 911 liveries. Take the cars to Daytona. Go to snap a pic nd see a car that doesn’t look like the others. Only this Gulf Blue 911 have the bonnet and rear wing different colors from the body.

It’s like this in the garage and thumbnails. So, Inhead to the Livery Editor. What the what? It’s normal, the thumbnail above is still wrong.

I load up the livery and that thumbnail is fine. The livery is as it should be. Nothing needed to be changed.

Overwrite the livery. Exit the LE and enter my garage. The livery is still two-tone blue & white.

I read your post 3-times and I'm not sure what you're referring to? Are you saying the livery you created is showing up wrong in the race?

Partially ghosted cars are now almost always showing up in my offline races, but, even worse, I'm starting to see completely invisible cars...invisible to radar too! Especially annoying when you collide with one.

Fortunately I haven't seen this happen in Sport mode races...yet.

I have seen it happen to my car as well.

Just hoping this is not a PS5 hardware issue...

1) When spectating a lobby, its not possible to switch to the trackside camera angle after the camera unless you exit and re-enter spectate. Frustrating for leagues doing live broadcasts.

2) Miles do not accumulate on cars if you exit a custom race without finishing it, despite gathering daily workout miles.

3) Super Formula cars can't be raced in lobbies with fixed setup, as the game identifies the "overtake" system as nitro, and makes them inelegible for lobbies with BoP/Tuning Prohibited on.

4) Timed races start the race finish countdown once any car crosses the line after the time runs out. This means that in some instances the winning car doesn't finish his race, which is absurd. Was not the case in GT Sport and should not be like this in GT7, has to be a bug.

*first time ever writing on this web and excuse for my english skills.

I'm playing in ps4 normal. writing this 'cause in korean version, audi tt cup's "Learn more" has been replaced to R8 LMS 's. since i found this at release, i expected to be fixed but here we are.

also, changing Lancer Evo 10 Gr.b road car's stock slotted brake to drilled or carbon doesn't change its external brake looks. so i can't change caliper colors.
what's interesting is some other road version cars(wrx, 4c) do change but this one not.

i was looking for any official bug report web or contact emails but couldn't find a thing.
any help would be thankful.

Haha you're not the only one getting this.

And in another lobby I was the one who was invisible. I got no engine noise either. I forgot to take footage of that though. Quitting the lobby and re-entering solved it. Some data download issue I guess.

The Mitsubishi GTO's backfire is inaudible. The flames are there, but the sound isn't. Anti-Lag set to strong, racing exhaust, everything as it should be...nothing.

Maybe PD are intentionally ghosting and removing cars to keep the game running around 60 fps 😅
(On a serious note about maintaining the fps, I noticed that the 360 camera shows low LOD on fenders for most of the cars. This is very ugly to look at)

Trying to create a livery and I’m getting GTA_CREATE_NEW_LIVERY_FAILED

What does this have to do with GT7? I haven’t played GTA in months.

Unsure if it's been reported or if people have noted it, but since (I think) 1.23, when you retry the same race after finishing, it resets your mileage back to where it was before you started. You can then effectively rake up mileage on your daily distance but not add mileage to your car.

Eg. Start with 50km as shown mileage, do Tokyo WTC600 and add 88km, restart the event and your mileage will show 50km again, not the 138km it showed at the end of the race. But your daily mileage will show as 88km... 🤷‍♂️

This issue happens frequently, I am qualifying for a daily race (A, B, or C) and I get my best time just seconds (5-15 seconds) before the time expires before matching and the time is not registered for that race, it will be there in races after. I feel cheated that I qual good and find myself back a few spots with prior qual time or worst with no time because it was my first time to qualify.

Minor, but I've noticed some cars (mostly Ferrari) don't get the red brake zone at over 200mph coming in to Mulsanne at LeMans. I've learned to watch for fixed objects on the roadside to remind me to slow down.

The dreaded livery bug. I’m in the blue car. Usually, the liveries would effect the last 10 cars in my 20 car grid. Now, it’s just the last four and my car. No matter my grid position. The white Corvette is All white on purpose.

Whats the bug here? Is it that the liveries aren’t being applied??
Correct.
It is an intermittent bug. If I back out of the race and start a new one, it clears it up. That’s not happening now. Haven’t had it in a while since a few updates ago.
The liveries would refresh at the start of a race and be fine. Now, they’re not refreshing even when switching cars.
