Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

The app crashing in PS4 after races is happening too often. I don't think they should wait a month for a fix.
update is coming tomorrow morning

Is anyone having issues with Lobbies since the update?
I am having multiple issues with the lobbies freezing when loading cars/tracks...and on some cases cars have been invisible (and make no noise)...

Last night during the setup of daily race B the lobby hung because of one player, his line in the list had the diagonal lines, it stayed hung and players started to quit and leave, another player and I waited it out, after 35 minutes or so we'r able to go to the warmup and when that expired it dumped us out completely, no race!

Has anyone else found their Cappuccino to be stuck at 574 PP no matter what you do to it? I didn't even realize it was so low until I did a time trial and noticed the lap time showed up under the 700PP tab in the board. I swapped the turbo to stock and the PP doesn't change despite a 100hp drop.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

As far as I can see, applying BoP in a custom lobby does not seem to work. When in the lobby with BoP applied, there is no “yellow text” in the car details advising you of the application of BoP.

In addition, there is no change at all to any of the cars parameters.

I‘m happy to be corrected on this problem but if correct this needs fixing urgently IMHO.

Rain Radar is back to its faulty version in Spa, LeMans grind races.
Crossgen lobbies are laggy as ever. PS5 hosts can have trouble going to track, leaving grid when race starts.
The game froze the system when I had a music rally bug with the music playing but the car stuck on track.

That's 15 minutes of testing 1.24...

quite a nice fix, ain't it?
edit: I am wrong about the Rain radar, it seems that it's actually the rain levels that have been changed a bit.

Enter the track and check again.

IDK if this has been mentioned or if anyone else has even seen this. I grabbed footage while in race because I wasnt sure how it would display in a replay. SolitaryRacer's car is invisible. I didnt even notice until he started getting revenge for some dirty driving I allegedly did. I guess I hit him since I couldnt see him but whatever. You can also see that his arrow doesn't even show up on my radar so there is no way of knowing exactly where he is until you get the indicator someone is in your blind spot. IDK if he glitched, I glitched or the server glitched but that was not a fun experience.

This happened to me too on 1.23 both online(lobby) and offline(LeMans30')

Rain radar at 30 min Le Mans was a bit strange today. Huge rain "wall" (all in the same green, no different rain cells) after lap 2, but then nothing but some rain drops and asphalt was dry.

It felt strange to me as well.
Had a large storm roll in that lasted a good while. Normally that would increase the water meter fairly quickly, but it went up really slowly for some reason.
Haven't tried Spa yet.

I noticed something similar to this happen with a Civic Type R. Adding better parts made a lower PP. For example, I went from semi-racing to racing suspension and it dropped 30PP. I figured that maybe the stock settings were wrong, so I tried improving it, but any adjustments to suspension or anything would not change the PP.

It seems like the PP system broke and it’s not calculating correctly, but additionally any adjustments besides part swapping do not make any difference. And even then, the parts swaps seem wrong.

EDIT: so… if I’m understanding, Polyphony did this on purpose because people were cheating to grind money? Do changes to the suspension actually affect the game physics still? …it just doesn’t change the PP? What the heck?!

I just attempted to run the WTC600 championship to do some grinding and testing my G70 set-up, and half of the AI are missing outright in the event. They are in the event as entities and their cars are being tracked...but the models, collision and radar icons are completely absent.

Edit: On a base PS4

I could not believe what I was witnessing, so I had to grab the replay and drop it here.

PS5 or 4?

Not sure if this is a bug, but when starting Daily Race B today at Spa when the game handed me control of the car half way in the chicane before the start line, I ended up going off the track and was given a time penalty before the race start. Not sure if it counts as a ug or glitch.

Yesterday I went to the Nurburgring meet up place for a few laps. No one else was home so I turned my HiFi system way up to 4 (do I know how to live or what?). I picked my car and clicked enter track and when I drove off the menu music was still playing only way louder and my car was kind of competing for volume with the menu music. The whole thing was way louder than usual. The volume change was so severe that if I had my system turned up more it would have definitely hurt something. I just use linear PCM and connect my amp to my PS4 pro with optical and select linear pcm optical as priority so it's not a 7.1 issue. I also haven't touched any sound settings since the 2 hours I spent making it perfect.

Had the game repeating same 1 or 2 second bit of action at Spa as I crossed finish line as it went into auto driving mode. PS5, also stutters near the end of a longer race like it running out of memory.

Just run into a bug in GT Auto where if you go into the livery editor then back out the GT Auto menu appears but the middle of the screen is black with the GT loading circle and your car doesn't load. It can also be replicated by going in and out from the main GT Auto menu. A restart fixes it until you do an in and out again. (PS4 standard)

Sport lobbies still not loading. This has plagued GT7 since the beginning and PD are doing nothing about it. Our SR will just keep dropping because of something they can't fix.

Guess what you can do PD? Remove the penalty for quitting a race.

Edit: since I didn't want to lose my SR I waited like 10 minutes and in the end the race started. We were just 3.

Been getting one random car on Sardgena 800PP race not pitting. Happened 4 times yesterday. Always a different car. It does cause a traffic jam for sure because they putt around at limp speed the rest of the race.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but since day one there's been this glitch with the circuit experience and license demonstrations. It doesn't do it for every track, but for many of them when you start the demo it fast forwards past the starting line, and if you press the back-10-seconds button, it rewinds and then fast fowards again. It's annoying to have to hit the lap-back button every time you watch a demo. Here's a video:

edit: nevermind; my example wasn't good. I'll post a better one next time it happens.

I noticed a bug when doing time trial today.

After you back out to the "race" menu after the time trial session, change settings, and go out on track again, the miles you accumulated from the previous session will be dropped.
This also applies to races! If you complete a race, then go to retry and open the car settings menu, then back out and check your car's mileage, it's the same as before you did the race.

This effectively means, for example, if you buy a car from Brand Central, and always go to the car settings after either a race or a hotlap session, you can keep the car's mileage at 0.
