Pretty muchPorsche 911 (992) GT3 RS '22 - DKH-911 (Porsche 911 992 Turbo S '20) swap makes basically a GT2 RS , correct?
One thing I immediately thought of 959 swap for the 356 Speedster is the Ridge Racer V version of the Pac-Man's car:
So I went ahead with a spare 356 Speedster and put the relevant engine and livery.
This swap should be at least a (!!)Pretty much
I have serious doubts as well, and its a shame that PD chose to implement that drivetrain version of the C-HR. Then again, before update 1.52 of October 2024 there was no option to swap more than one engine into a car. They introduced second engine swap options for specific cars with that update. So I still have hope.I'm calling it: The C-HR will never get an engine swap any time soon.
No Hybrid car in the game so far has had an engine swap still, nearly 3 years after the game's release.
Probably because the devs have no idea weather or not to implement the hybrid system to the swap or remove it entirely.
I couldn't get it to go over 200 kph, because even a slight turn of the steering wheel or pressing the brake (very smoothly) would cause the car to completely break away. Only on Special Stage Route X could I get the maximum speed out of it, but only until the first turn. I even managed to flip its roof over (And didn't think it's possible in GT7). I think there's something wrong with my settings, can you share yours? So i tried out the LS7 swap into the Volvo last night. Maxed out tune, cannot keep up at SSRX... anyone had any luck with extracting some decent top end out of this thing? I couldn't get it past 405kph without a slipstream.
I'm not sure I even made it to the turn at SSRX without bailing out knowing I couldn't keep up with the competition, so mine may not be the best, but I'll share it when I'm on next.I couldn't get it to go over 200 kph, because even a slight turn of the steering wheel or pressing the brake (very smoothly) would cause the car to completely break away. I don't think the engine swap makes the A110 easier to drive, so I would go for the R5I wonder what's the best car to put the Silvia S15 engine into? I do admit I'm curious about putting it into either the Alpine A110 '72 or the Renault R5 Turbo. I do have a spare of the former, too, so I think I'll drop it into there and tinker with the ballast - as well as its positioning - to get a better weight distribution.
There is no 992 GT2. So it would be a theoretical car. However you can swap the same turbo engine into the 991 GT3, and easily adjust that car to be almost identical to the IRL 991 GT2 RS.Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS '22 - DKH-911 (Porsche 911 992 Turbo S '20) swap makes basically a GT2 RS , correct?
I wish they implement a way to see it in your garage and not to have to open the tuning sheet.Sadly not, without opening the tuning sheet. I myself started marking swapped cars as favorites because I have no other use for that feature.
It would be great if we had just a free field for each car for comments. Also visible in the replays and in the hotlap times sections.I wish they implement a way to see it in your garage and not to have to open the tuning sheet.
mark all of your swapped cars as a "favourite" and you will see a small star in the garage listings, it's an easy way to see which of the same cars has the engine swap.I wish they implement a way to see it in your garage and not to have to open the tuning sheet.
or you can just paint the car in dayglo pink and have big letters in decals saying " S W A P "It would be great if we had just a free field for each car for comments. Also visible in the replays and in the hotlap times sections.
Don't know about your garage, but most of us have more then swapped cars.or you can just paint the car in dayglo pink and have big letters in decals saying " S W A P "
This is unequivocally false. Every car in the game with a fuel tank has a 100-litre fuel tank.Yes, not only is the engine swapped, but the fuel tank from those racing cars also, which is why you are able to go longer distance. It has nothing to do with burning less fuel or being more fuel efficient.
It is because of their bigass tanks!
And yes, you are right, and it is PD's way-around that by giving racecars way more fuel economy than the road cars (which is not very realistic) giving the effect of a much larger tank, which, the racecars do have a larger tanks in real life. This is unequivocally false. Every car in the game with a fuel tank has a 100-litre fuel tank.

The first item i posted is a serious answer, I have all my engine swaps marked as favourites and thus I can find them in the whole garage because they have a gold star at the bottom of the car square...Don't know about your garage, but most of us have more then swapped cars.
Same car with or without limited slip, muscle cars with 5-speed not to be limited in top speed, etc.
But I guess you just wanted to be funny
It's also been the case that all cars have had the same fuel tank size since fuel consumption was introduced. That was in GT4, although the tanks were all 80 litres until GT5.And yes, you are right, and it is PD's way-around that by giving racecars way more fuel economy than the road cars (which is not very realistic) giving the effect of a much larger tank, which, the racecars do have a larger tanks in real life.
They made their own limitation, by not imolementing realistic tank sizes, so they just slapped 100L fuel tabks in every car, and then adjusted the fuel economy wildy differe tly in many cars just to make up for that.
Givving the "effect" of different tank sizes.
As, we all know, in real life: not every car is 100L.
So they made uo for that oversight.
Tldr: different method for the same outcome.
