The game artificially limits the steering angle, it's worst on banked corners so somewhere like the carousel on the Nurburgring the car barely wants to turn and you're giving up at least half a second to the wheels.
What’s you sensitivity setting? Or do u adapt it based on the car/track combo?

To be clear, and I agree with you that it should be addressed, it isn't the steering angle that's limited. It's the rate at which the steering of the car follows the controller input.

The steering angle is limited by the gear you are in. If you want a tighter turn, you have to kick it down a gear.

Like I said, I agree that it's a peeve.

I must be a deranged person that buys 6 Unimogs just to get and use all the push bar and bed options this thing has.

Hooray for updates! I'm having way more fun with the Unimog than I thought I would. I've already done three laps at the ring in them, and I think we should have a little NBR challenge in stock 'Mogs... haha.

As we know now, this thing is pretty crazy to mod. Wheel sizes up to 24", slicks, and all sorts of add-ons. I was one of those who thought it was cool to have, but wouldn't be fun to drive, and it ended up being something where even going slow is fun. Plus in VR it's nice to sit up so high!

For now I just did a simple Braubus look and think it turned out pretty nice.

Also had fun modding the Z4, and love when GT gives us a car where we can push the wheels all the way out to the corners of the widebody. This version is super-stanced, and surprisingly drives this way, though the fronts tires will hit. Bumping it up 10mm mostly keeps the wheels out of the fenders... mostly. Looks great laid out though. I'll be doing a Z4M replica sometime soon as well.

Here's the NBR time for the stock "Mog. 6th gear almost the entire time, and only used the brakes once! Up the long back straight 5th gear is needed, and the hill shortly after the carousel takes 5th gear too, but other than that just keep her in 6th and enjoy the scenery!

This run was in the "Brabus" tuned to 227hp, sport brake pads. Full weight, CH tires, stock suspension. Only shaved 10 minutes off the stock time! It will be neat to see what a full-tilt, lightweight version on tuned suspension will be capable of.

I played with the gearing a bit, and even setting it down to 140kph (87mph) you still won't use 6th gear. This thing punches a big hole in the air. I think the minimum final-drive speed of 120kph is probably the best.

I did drive the pug and enjoy it as well, just don't have the time to mess around with it yet. I have to say though, the stock brakes on it suck. Takes forever to haul it down. But it's got good power, and a bunch of torque.

One thing I'm not enjoying so much is the reduction in FFB for my T300. It's weak now and I've never had issues with it before. Now I've had to bump the torque up to 7, and think I might need to raise it a little more because it's still kinda soft.

And there we are for the moment. Having all sort of fun in these lame "mom" cars, haha.

There’s got to be something to PD adding all these commercial vehicles. Paired with the Safety/law enforcement vehicles. Unless it’s just PD seeing how players utilise the car list in role play lobbies.

I leave it on the maximum all the time, it's nice to have a slider for the options but its a bit of a shame it doesn't seem to do much!

I think it's a bit of both, the initial steering is slow when you turn into the corner but then it reaches a point where it won't go any further, changing down an extra gear isn't practical either because you'll be slow through the turn. I think controller is doing something strange on bumps too compared to wheels.

Gran Turismo understands that there's more to motoring than race tracks and high performance...
I say there's something coming. He made mention too heaps of things he'd like to do. I think a little(I'm talking very small) city area would probably be feasible over PD adding multiple city circuits.

I took my tuned Z4 out to Fuji yesterday and it was fantastic. The racing exhaust really makes this car sing. I also drove the 205 and that was a lot of fun to fling around Brands Hatch. I wasn't even paying full attention yet I could still keep it on the track due to the superb feedback. In terms of fun factor, this update has really delivered.

Kaz did say in an interview that it's the vehicle type he wants to cover more in GT.

If you're going to release a special car, why not have 3 or 4 races where you can use it effectively without having to tune it?

Why do you have to wait for a special where you can use the car and it's only valid for a week.

AND WHY aren't all the special races simply added to the driving missions after you've been in the weekly races for a week?

Oh man PD still sooooo much room for improvement and that after 3 years... 😕

By the way, there have been something similar to special races in GT before.
Back then, they were called brand races and you could take part in them at individual car dealerships in GT2.
