GT social media finally put up the first featurette of the previous update's cars (the Escort) today. Since they've only done one so far, if they follow the normal pattern (ever since they started doing them, they put up all the car featurettes the month of the next update, about a week or so before the Kaz silhouettes) the update is going to be the 30th and not the 23rd as some were hoping for.
Witch original track from Gran Turismo past would return into GT7 in the next update with the highest prediction of?
1. Apricot Hill?
2. Mid Field Raceway?
3. Red Rock Valley?
4. Autumn Ring?
5. Cape Ring?
6. El Capitan?
7. Grindelwald?

This is a high possibility based on previous update release dates. The majority of the updates were released on the last Thursday of the month. Like this month, five of the previous update months had five Thursdays and the update was released on the fifth Thursday.
1.23 - 9/29/22
1.31 - 3/30/23
1.35 - 6/29/23
1.43 - 2/29/24
1.48 - 5/30/24

For the next update I think they will finally give the Cosworth engine swap. Also I would like to think the AZ1 would make appearance

Educated guess time:

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
Hyundai i30N (my random theory being they’ll pad out Hyundai models a little at the same time as the Ioniq)
Mazda MX-5 RF (simple addition as very similar to the soft top, and PD like their simple reskins)

One non-content change that I'm thinking might be in the pipeline is slipstream/dirty air changes.

Sport Mode has been running Custom slipstream (less dirty air, more powerful slip) for a couple of months now for the higher downforce cars, but now they're running it even for Gr.3 and Gr.4 races, which to me feels like PD going "yes, we know this is an issue, here's a sticking plaster while we work on a proper solution".

My guesses:
  • Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
  • F3500-A
  • Some sort of meme car or an old Skoda (they need to add some cars to this brand)
  • A modern car
  • an 80s/90s car (pointing the Mazda AZ-1)

  • 3 New events, a new extra menù book, a new scapes location
  • A new feature coming in the Lobbies section

Would've been really cool if after the F3500 drops (which we all know is coming) they'd have used that car as part of the Nations races - at an actual F1 track - that were just released. Let's use that at RBR instead of Gr3 (as I am assuming a Manu series is right around the corner).

But, na'. We'll do cookie cutter races instead.

The copy-pasting of rounds from the GTWS finals into very short seasons will continue until morale improves. ;)

If the Gr.3 RBR round does end up being an exact copy of the mixed weather Manufacturers race from the mid-year finals, it's going to be a bit disappointing IMO. Seems like every other GTWS race is a copy of something from an earlier final these days.

The Autozam has been going like the Murcielago was in Sport - I thought it was surely one of the most obvious cars to be added in an update eventually, but it actually never came till the following game.

I still think the Autozam is likely, but I’ve thought it was likely since day 1.

Apricot Hill more than likely. And based on what they did to poor Grand Valley, if we get Autumn Ring I fear that it won't be recognizable.

What’s messed up is Forza have the Az-1 and a Stagea. Not to mention(though I will), a Pajero Evolution.
And the Toyota Sera. It was this particular car pack that made me buy Forza Horizon 5 on XSX after playing it on PC. Turns out my PC did not give me the full experience as I noticed details I hadn't previously seen. It's also easier to just plug and play.

Autumn Ring was always an early-game throwaway track. We all raced it so we all remember it but what do we remember about it?

The most memorable parts in my opinion were some tricky chicanes and falling leaves. The track could be almost anything as long as its autumn.

I do love the AZ1
Who needs that MR car when you can get the best MR car, the Midget II? I'm kidding.

I am absolutely dying over here hoping that the Midget gets added soon. I do welcome whatever is around the corner though.

No, I'm not biased, what are you on about?

I enjoyed the DTM race that was in the weekly races a bit ago. That and races like would a nice add at some point. I now have a good base of built DTMs spanning the decades. A grinder to play with them would be cool. IMPO.

(Edit. Come to think, that is likely what the country events are for.) :banghead:
