Amidst the update discussion, can anyone tell me why is the moon so bright in Nurburgring?

I remember a thread in the early days of GT7 about little details. For Nurburgring I remember people talking about the rave music on certain spots and about the GT logos on the ground, but here's a question: have you ever noticed iluminated spots around the track even though there's no source of light nearby? And what about those trees?

This spot shorty after Klostertal is particular interesting. In this pic you can only see the NPCs silhouette, right?

Just a few meters away and lumus!

And again, the same glitch we disscussed pages ago:

I might take a closer look at RA or Spa :mischievous:

from the grass, this is PS4 version, I wonder if the same lightning stuff is on PS5, not the headlight ones but the ghost light?

As you all know, last month we got the aston martin valkyrie as dlc. But one thing people might not have noticed is there has been a video of the valkyrie in the aston martin gt7 channel for some time.
There are more examples like this in brand channels of gt7. Would it be reasonable to expect these cars to get the same treatment as the valkyrie and really come to gt7?
Here are some of the cars from brand channels in gt7:
-ford puma rally1
-chevy corvette z06 '23
-jaguar I-type 5
-mclaren artura and 765LT
-radical sr10
-pagani huayra R
-lamborghini countach lpi 800-4
-lexus is500 F sport and lfa
-ktm x-bow gtx and gt2

I think there was also Huracan STO in Lambo Brand Central.

Hmm, yeah, this would only make sense if this was going to be like the 6th time that Fraga was racing against Hizal. Back then, people were calling it a rivalry in the making. But they haven't raced each other since 2019, so...

Yep, seems desperate, alright. =/
It has to be tongue in cheek thing. Has to be.

I would prefer not to have three different NASCAR machines, and instead have the one highly-modified NASCAR machine that entered the LM24 this year. That way, it can effectively race on more courses than just ovals, and it even has actual lights.
Didn't Nascar cars in GT5/GT6 raced different tracks too? I mean, tracks like Laguna Seca, Grand Valley and etc

Are they being modelled?
If not, then no. The Brand Central videos are just to promote the brand's vehicles IRL.

One of note for me is the Peugeot 9X8, however I have my reservations about whether the brand central videos can be directly related to future content. It's also pretty impossible to prove the link, even if there is one

You could make the argument that it promotes things to come. I remember seeing the Ford GT in Ford's brand central video before it dropped in GTS, but that's coincidence.
I made a list of predictions based on this argument with some examples like: Bugatti Chiron, Ford GT Race Car, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and the recent addition of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. There are also cars 'previewed' in their respective brand museums, such as the Mazda RX-8 Spirit R, Volkwagen ID.R, Jaguar XJ220, Porsche 904 Carrera GTS and 911 Carrera RS 2.7. However, the ones that appear represent a small fraction of all cars displayed on Brand Central, so it may be pure coincidence.

Lights? How about an actual roll cage?!?
It's infuriating (and unexplainable) why we can't add a roll cage to a single Camaro in the game. And yes, I know the RS Camaro has one but that's it. Any other Camaro does not have that option.

Yes, the Le Mans NASCAR would be cool. But for the wider community it would make more sense to have a generic NASCAR. It would engage the oval racing fans, livery creators, they could also utilise engine swaps. Would also be pretty fun on road courses!

On a wider point, it’s a no-brainier to offer a NASCAR, F3/SF Lights, 911 Cup (multiple generations). Perfect models for Online racing, Daily races, livery creators.

Just a quick thought:
It was stated somewhere, that Sony/PD are at least thinking of bringing GT to the PC as other Exclusives did before.
My idea: as GT7 is kind on GaaS and still online focused wouldn't it be weird to bring the game to the PC years later when the updating and online competition comes to an end at some time?

For me it would be more logical that the next GT comes to PS and PC without a long wait in between with crossplay (and if they need some experience on PC maybe they do a small "GT Sport 2 Concept Laggo Maggiore" or something in between, like they did so often before).

So...we're waiting for the movie to release for the next update?

The eternal optimist in me hopes that it's a 'full' career with a need to get all the Licenses in order to play the new events. But I also know the perils of getting your hopes up
Yes, 3-5 cars at best and five career events, sorry to break it to you, but it's always been this way. Even back with 25th annviersary we would get additional two pretty cool FOMO events such as Pikes Peak Suzuka at Willow Springs and Gr.3 at Spa. Kazunori is busy discussing how Porsche will dominate whole racing world in 2030s or something

Take a look at GT7's current track list. Does GT7 look like a game that's going to add a car (let alone three) that's meant for ovals? Besides, we can still race the LM24 NASCAR on ovals. Meanwhile, the SF19 and SF23 are at least meant for non-oval circuits. Plus, we do have road cars that were made as homologation specials for NASCAR, like the Superbird.

I mean, didn't stop them with GT5 or GT6 despite having at best 4 Ovals

Yeah, but we don't even have Indy yet.
True. Just saying they seemed keen at the time despite the comically short amount of ovals to use the cars on, which as it currently stands GT7 is barely notible 5 (Assuming anyone even wants to count BB Raceway, which is just discount Trenton if it were modernized...and in Japan for some reason).
