Does Grid Legends scan their cars, or do they approximate from photos like the old days?

Knowing Polyphony, unless they can get a real example (highly unlikely) or a perfect model from Mazda to base the game model on, they're not going to add it.

It's Molen Leonide in Anna Paulowna in the Netherlands. You won't find it in the game, nor at any circuit - it's just a pretty windmill which, along with the pretty tulip field right beforehand - is something you'll find in the Netherlands, as the trailer is for the GT World Series Showdown in Amsterdam.

Just checked, you're right. The message below it that says captured on a PS5 and the fact that looks almost like an in-game photo has driven me off... (and also the hopes for a new circuit of course..)
 
Couple of nice shots from a faux-shuffle lobby I was a part of tonight.
Just goes to show that we can all enjoy the game if we try. Personally this is some of the most fun I've ever had in the game!

Mazda still has the CAD.. The car wasn't chiseled by hand.

What if it's the Miata cup car used by IMSA?
 
With that supposed IMSA partnership, I had a potential idea. What if we get a Bonus Menu featuring the Mazda MX-5 Cup? The races wouldn't feature the NA-based touring car, but instead the more typical NA, ND, and once we get them, the NB and NC as well. There'd be rounds at Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, and Watkins Glen, with a future round at the Daytona Road Course. Hopefully, if they're added, there could also be rounds at the Indy road course and Lime Rock, as well.
