It would be nice if the Furai would be converted into a Premium Car.

I thinkn there's one car that probably remail standard, This car
latest

The GIllet Vertigo intrestingly appeared in in 3 of the main series games (4, 5, & 6). Not many photos exist of this car's interior, pretty underrated.

The real car has been fairly well maintained so they could rescan it.

There’s a few other cars in that collection that would also be more than welcome.

I care about them. I have improved quite a lot in taking pictures in the game and I really like doing it.
ok but maybe they should spend some time fixing penalty system, improving contact phyciscs and generaly phycisc, maybe add damage visuals, improving environment graphics etc and after that spend time on new scapes ?

I don’t know who else needs to hear this but the people responsible for physics are not the same people responsible for scapes

I wouldn't read too much into how they allocate their budget based off an interview. We don't even have a release date for the game yet, so it makes sense that Scapes is something Kaz would talk about without giving too much of the rest of the game away.

On top of that, the camera used to capture Scapes is made by Sony as we learnt from this gtplanet article, so it wouldn't surprise me if Sony are giving them additional funding to continue creating Scapes (I'm speculating there).

Backing to latest Kaz interview, why so much talk about scapes? Anybody interested in scapes?

Perhaps you should have a look through the Scapes section of the Discover tab and see how many Scapes have been shared. I think you will find it is a well liked feature of the game by quite a number of users. On a side note, it would be interesting to see how many players have completed the 1000 photos achievement.

Don't know if it's been mentioned already but GT7 no longer is in Just Announced list on PS5 store. Prior to this it was in the list for a few months.

Not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing

Would be happy to have this car back in either guise. Sadly, I'm not sure its possible as there doesn't seem to be a living example of the 1997 Streife GT2 car and the closest thing to the car that appeared from GT4-GT6 is the 2005 Belgian Racing Spa 24 Hour car as seen in that raceart site. Does have me curious as to how many race chassis still exists apart from this one.

👍

You also have threads dedicated to photo mode :D

I use it to make physical wallpapers as well as desktop wallpapers. The detail you can pull is amazing.

Seeing as I'm planning on switching to Sony alpha cameras, I was pleasantly surprised to find out I've been working with camera files from the camera line I want to purchase :)

I've always wanted to get some of my Scapes photos printed so that I can put them around my room. Maybe with GT7 I might actually do it depending on what new cars and Scapes are added.

The one in GT3 was actually MY2000.
There was one in completely the same livery since there's an evidential photo of it.

But about the one in GT4 onwards, I couldn't find any photo of the real one. So its identity is unknown for me...

I highly recommend it as is. With their new image processing system and RAW files from alpha cameras, it's definitely worth it. You can get some fairly large prints without losing detail.

I used to have a 2' x 4' print of the Le Mans triad in my room. I touched it up a bit in Lightroom and added some filters that matched an 80s vibe. Gorgeous detail and colors.

After some looking around, its looking like there never was more then two chassis and they were simply upgraded/changed throughout the years.

Example: Chassis #YA9VA2900Y0169021 as restored by Race Art:

The exact same chassis as it was in 2007:

So it looks like if this car ever returns, The one that Race Art restored IS exactly what we would be getting.

I had never looked up the Vertigo's specs and how it sounded irl before and my god it's brutal. With its cute looks, I definitely didn't expect this sound to come out of it.

Well this particular variant using the Maserati V8 but has also used the Alfa Romeo V6 in the past, an engine that's the complete opposite of quiet

(It may have been asked before) During the development of GT5 and GT6, especially in the later stages, we got tons of offical screens, infos, video and updates on the progress. Why do you think PD doesn't give us any kind of news on GT7 lately? Is there simply nothing to show or report? Could it be stuck in development?

I loved the Gillet Vertigo in GTR 2

Because GT7 is not in its final stage.

Think of the GT7 trailer from last June like the first GT5 trailer at E3 2009.
Radio silence for 1 year, then it was playable at Gamescom 2010 (august) and TGS 2010 (september), with lots of trailers and info coming out at the same time. Released 2 months later.

Times have changed but don't expect GT7 before september. I'm gonna guess holiday season, like GT5.

PD's PR is handled by Sony, and I'd wager the answer is the PS5.

People are hopping mad at Sony right now, because they want PS5s and there aren't enough PS5s. That's not directly Sony's fault; it's making as many as it can, but it's facing component shortages - particularly flash memory, like in the internal SSD - as suppliers can't make enough to supply Sony, Microsoft, mobile phone manufacturers and now car manufacturers while also in the middle of a global pandemic. This isn't something Sony can do anything about.

Supply is one issue, demand is the other. Reportedly the interest in the PS5 was two orders of magnitude higher than the PS4 at the same time in its life - again, people staying at home gaming because global pandemic. Retailers have once again proven they're either powerless to or don't care to try to stop scalpers, who are using bots and scripts to suck up a significant quantity of any stock drop, and sell them back to the people who wanted them originally for two or three times the price. Again, Sony can't do anything about that really (perhaps it could pressure retail chains into having more robust scalping-prevention systems before supplying them with consoles, but it's not directly in Sony's hands).

So people are pissed at Sony for not making enough (which it can't help) and for shops selling them to scalpers (which it can't help).

The very last thing Sony needs right now is to hype up a massive title which will shift a bunch of consoles all by itself before it even launches because 4m people will want to play it on day one. All that will do is drive demand, which is already far higher than it can supply.

I guess covid slowed down the development of the game (maybe)

However, I hope for October/November 2021 as launch date, as long as the game will be polished and complete. We are tired of rushing products (see GT5/GT6)

I personally don’t need such things, they should concentrate on the game.

PR/Marketing team does not represent the software engineers and designers working on the game.

We're in a pandemic with not much going on, the PR account is just trying to stay relevant.
