After seeing this scene in the Gran Turismo movie.
I thought that GT3 rs would definitely be in the game.

it says that it's a "Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91", but i can't see the wing, strange...
Yeah I thought of that too.
Always seen that car with a rear wing.
Is there a wingless version of this car? Cause I dont remember ever seeing one.
Its probably just darkened and cant see it in the silhouettes.

Just give us 1 new track, full implementation of Sophy AI and a new set of endurance missions and this will going to be an amazing update, if not the best yet. It would be nailing!

I don't want endurance MISSIONS, I want endurance RACES.
Well, they will surely going to be missions (see Human Comedy in the April 2022 update). I would like to have endurance proper races and not missions, but I don't think it would be realistic. I can see why PD decided to thrat those as secondary missions. However, we got 1 endurance race on World Circuit outside of the Human Comedy, so we never know!

how dare people get excited about content being added to a game! We should all dismiss this information and just sit and sulk until update notes are released!
Imagine getting excited for content we should have had when the game released.

It's like buying bread and each month you get 1 slice.

GT7 is already 2 years old and what did we get for "added" content? 2 new tracks and a different layout from an ingame track?

I'm sorry. I guess i'm still so disappointed with GT7. This game could be so much more, especially with singleplayer content.

The game offered a lot and was released with a good bunch of tracks.
I agree that the game has it’s flaws and would have so much more potential but I don’t get the main point of your post.

This is your opinion and to be honest… stupid, this sentiment can just be rinse and repeated across any game, Forza should of had this, ACC that blah blah we get it, your personalised high expectations weren’t met so you’re going to complain, congrats…

The game didn’t launch as a single slice of bread, and have one added every month.
We got an entire bakery but your negativity made you expect the bakery and a 5 star Michelin restaurant when none of that was promised.

Actually it’s 3 tracks, Watkins glen, Grand Valley and Road Atlanta but that’s excluding other tracks and their variations like the ralycross from catalunya, then we had features added:
  • Added wind direction and wind-speed indicators
  • Added a [Broadcast Mode] option
  • A "New" label is now displayed for new & legend cars available to buy that day
  • Added renting Event-Specified Cars
  • Added event and race details before each race
  • Online Time trials added
  • Extra Menu's introduced
  • Race shop added to pre race menu
  • 'Car Valuation Service' feature has been added
  • Qualifying and Grid Start features have been added to Lobby
  • VR support
  • Drift mode in scapes
  • Support for 120 Hz Output and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) have been added
  • Keyboard Camera Switching Feature has been added to the Lobby races
  • Ultimate parts added to Tuning shop
  • Purchasable Engine swaps added
  • End of season rewards for participating in the Manufacturers/Nations cup
  • New sales category has been added called Special Picks
You could go through the updates here and find some others I missed.

No need to be sorry but maybe let others be positive and enjoy the hype of an update,
Maybe just wallow in your negativity elsewhere.

Ps we still don’t know what else the update will bring, and it’s ok to be hyped about that too

Why do I count 3 new tracks? Two of them completely new to the series. That's pretty good as far as free updates go, this sort of content takes time to produce.

I like how this batch of cars fleshes out several things.

Every generation of Porsche 911 now represented. V10 competition between Lexus LFA and Porsche Carrera GT. Group A rivalry between Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo, BMW M3 Evo and Ford Sierra Cosworth. Dodge Charger R/T fills a gap between the classic muscle cars. Dodge Challenger SRT Demon joins the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R. NISMO 400R joins the R32 NISMO. Tesla Model 3 joins the Model S.

Yes i am negative. If you compare GT7's content today with what we had back with GT3/4/5 then GT7 is severely behind.

Most features mentioned should have been in the game upon release. Still, it's good that they are added!

For the new tracks i wasn't sure if we got 2 or 3 :)

To be clear: i really hope this update brings more singleplayer content. And to be bold and express my "own" expectations: i want full endurance races (4hr/9/12 and 24hrs). On top of that: i want them be so when you race again, you can earn the credits for that specific race again. I really don't know why endurance races are not in the game except for those missions.

Different league races would also be fantastic!

A new track or maybe even 2 new tracks would be welcome.

What about monthly or seasonal races?

Such an interesting use of the phrase "big update". The last time Yamauchi specifically said "big update" (although he said "big updates" and there were dozens of pages on what the "s" meant) was February 2023 for the GV/Sophy/VR update:

Prior to that, GTPlanet was among the outlets invited to try out both of the big features before they arrived, with our coverage for both under an embargo.

Even though PSVR2 was known, it was under embargo until February 2nd; @Jordan went to San Mateo for it on January 31st:

Cleverly, they invited him back to San Mateo for GT Sophy, on February 15th, under embargo until February 20th:

That meant, obviously, we knew both of these things were coming - we'd tried them out - and when, but they were under embargo; we had the precise information but legally could not share it. I'm not actually aware of any journo or outlet being sued for breaking an embargo, but it is nonetheless a breach of contract and - best-case - gets you dropped off the list for future previews.

While it's fun reading back the articles I wrote about 1.29 with the knowledge that I already knew what was in the update but couldn't say what it was, Sony PR would also have been reading the articles at the time knowing that, so clearly I wasn't four wheels over the white lines

Of course, this is the benefit and curse of being media: we can't always tell you all we know.

It's also a benefit and a curse of managing a community, where a single "s" can lead to dozens of pages of speculation, sometimes bitter and quite coarse. Coming here, seeing that, and you know but can't share the facts - and can't share that you know the facts either - no matter how beneficial it would be to the community, is often frustrating.
