I'd honestly take a whole year of no car additions if it meant they could put the time in to actually solving this games main issues.
The LFA and EVO seem to be the most hyped cars for this update...and they're just returning models. The rest? Yet another 911, yet another tuned Skyline (which is also returning), some more muscle cars, and a silent battery box.
And I'm supposed to do what with them exactly, the same damn grinding events I've done non-stop for the last year? Oh and maybe throw a Spa attempt in there now and then. This game is absolutely desolate when it comes to end game singleplayer content, adding cars is not even close to a "fix" or a "win"; it's the absolute bare minimum. We need so many things changed, and the direction we seem to be heading in of just "new cars new scapes bye" makes me think it's just never happening. I hope Sony realizes this was a miserably failed experiment.

Some hagerty prices for our new cars:

The 190e definitly not going to be just 8k

This meaning that you are under embargo at the moment, thank you for letting us know. ;-)
Heh, I knew that was coming; after all, we got dozens of pages for a single "s", as noted above...

Apropos of previews for 1.29, we didn't get read into Grand Valley even though we had previews of VR2 & Sophy - it came as quite the surprise when it appeared on the PS/GT Blog posts - so... maybe there's a new track? Would fit with the TBDs in the GTWS schedule, although I'm not sure that'd be "big" enough for the expectations set by - among other things - 1.29.

Again, I only hope they can live up to this expectation because we've seen previously what happens here when they don't. It's never fun watching people hype themselves up into a frenzy and then explosively unravel when their expectations aren't met, and we have to deal with the aftermath. Or at least we do on here; Reddit's always like that.

I'm really happy to see someone with the same thoughts that i have.
New cars is always a win but those updates are just standard.
I get that people are excited for the cars in the next update, i am too.
But "big" update is relative. 7 cars instead of 5...

I just hope the rest of the update is not a single new (small) track and that's it.

I think the right version is Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91, you chose 1990 190E.
Didnt found any 190e 2.5 evo2 '91 in there. There was some 2.3 and 2.6 models.
That one was the closest.
Most of the rest of the options flutuated between 7k and 9k price

Found a 190E online for around £170,000 so itll probably be no less than 200k in-game
Yes I'm expeting 200k ingame too

Over/under on 3 bans?

Yes i am negative. If you compare GT7's content today with what we had back with GT3/4/5 then GT7 is severely behind.
If you think it’s severely behind, boy don’t load up GT3 then, you’ll be eating your own words there…

Hoping for some major improvements and additions, we deserve it
The sense of entitlement is strong with this one…

You know that the guys who work on the cars are not the same who are designing career mode?

The risk of nebulous tweets is that even if these 7 cars come with a new track some will be disappointed because they expected more. And dare I say I might be among them because the anticipation really has been building. Just can’t help it ;)

I’ve seen that happen time and time again over the years in the Videogame space.
I think getting overhyped is human nature.
Without a leak we would have lost our **** today after Kaz’s tweet.

Now we’re more like: “what else you got?“.

That’s why - no offense - I’m not a fan of leakers.

Looking forward to the Merc. Will try to turn it into the touring car asap.

The sense of entitlement is strong with this one…
1) GT3 had more events than GT7
2) Entitlement? Are you serious? We paid so much money for the game so our wishes deserve to be satisfied. It's the way things work, because we wouldn't even buy the game otherwise. Money doesn't fall from the sky! We deserve to get the definitive GT experience 😎 😎 :gtpflag:

This is your opinion and to be honest… stupid, this sentiment can just be rinse and repeated across any game, Forza should of had this, ACC that blah blah we get it, your personalised high expectations weren’t met so you’re going to complain, congrats…

The game didn’t launch as a single slice of bread, and have one added every month.
We got an entire bakery but your negativity made you expect the bakery and a 5 star Michelin restaurant when none of that was promised.

Actually it’s 3 tracks, Watkins glen, Grand Valley and Road Atlanta but that’s excluding other tracks and their variations like the ralycross from catalunya, then we had features added:
  • Added wind direction and wind-speed indicators
  • Added a [Broadcast Mode] option
  • A "New" label is now displayed for new & legend cars available to buy that day
  • Added renting Event-Specified Cars
  • Added event and race details before each race
  • Online Time trials added
  • Extra Menu's introduced
  • Race shop added to pre race menu
  • 'Car Valuation Service' feature has been added
  • Qualifying and Grid Start features have been added to Lobby
  • VR support
  • Drift mode in scapes
  • Support for 120 Hz Output and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) have been added
  • Keyboard Camera Switching Feature has been added to the Lobby races
  • Ultimate parts added to Tuning shop
  • Purchasable Engine swaps added
  • End of season rewards for participating in the Manufacturers/Nations cup
  • New sales category has been added called Special Picks
You could go through the updates here and find some others I missed.

No need to be sorry but maybe let others be positive and enjoy the hype of an update,
Maybe just wallow in your negativity elsewhere.

Ps we still don’t know what else the update will bring, and it’s ok to be hyped about that too
That's not too bad for a year and a month, and we are gonna get much more till the end of the support (2025-2026) so I'm optimistic about GT7 :gtpflag:

The previous update was standard, 3 cars. It may have felt like more because 2 of the cars in the update before it were finally made available to purchase.

Ahh, I should have clarified. I was thinking about the file size. It was 3gbs or something. Seemed much larger than previous updates with only cars and scapes being added.

Oh, with that I'm not sure. I remember hearing about a track being duplicated though?
