That’s not how it works.Koenigsegg - As we now have Volvo, which is a Swedish brand, Koenigsegg could definitely be introduced in one of these updates. The more Scandinavian cars, the better.

Is that what you play Gran Turismo for?
won't it be a 1999 model? Justl like SKyline and SUPRA from JGTC?Just 1 modern GT3 car, I beg…happy the 2000 NSX has arrived.
Says 2000 in the spoiler on the previous page.won't it be a 1999 model? Justl like SKyline and SUPRA from JGTC?
I predict they should add new Neo Classic Championship event/events
It'll be 2000, they're picking the cars that won the JGTC championship - the '97 Supra, '99 R34 and '00 NSX.won't it be a 1999 model? Justl like SKyline and SUPRA from JGTC?

Wait, that's my GTP's signature!fueled by nostalgia
I miss the 2000 and 2001 NSX models. They were sliding monsters. Man, I miss the old GT1 and GT2 championships, events and cars. And the tracks that were featured in the games. It'll be 2000, they're picking the cars that won the JGTC championship - the '97 Supra, '99 R34 and '00 NSX.
I think it's just cool points + harkening back to GT4 honestly. What’s significant about this particular Volvo 240? It’s not a performance classic like the 242 Turbo Evolution, so is it more like a “people’s car” like the recently added Renault R4?
It's part of the Gran Turismo Legacy indeed. 👍I think it's just cool points + harkening back to GT4 honestly.
hopefully they do this. What’s significant about this particular Volvo 240? It’s not a performance classic like the 242 Turbo Evolution, so is it more like a “people’s car” like the recently added Renault R4?
Why on earth did they choose the year ‘93 for the Volvo? Why?! They clearly don’t get it.Confirming the list, don't look if you prefer guessing.
2000 Castrol Mugen NSX
1993 Volvo 240 SE Wagon
2013 Volvo V40 T5
1987 Nissan Skyline GTS-R
1993 Honda Civic SiR-II
And what year should they have chose? Why on earth did they choose the year ‘93 for the Volvo? Why?! They clearly don’t get it.
it one of the biggest tuner car in the whole world because it RWD and can basically take any engine from any car ever made. Why on earth did they choose the year ‘93 for the Volvo? Why?! They clearly don’t get it.
I'm all for the Aussie hot rods. Not sure how many people would be very happy, but I would.
Cocaine?"bag of......... something that rhymes with white"
The Turbo is by far the most desirable and most performance oriented version, and it was produced between ‘81 and ‘85 so any of those years would do. It’s almost as if they’d given us the E30 325i instead of the M3.And what year should they have chose?
I'm sure you'll just be able to turbocharge it.The Turbo is by far the most desirable and most performance oriented version, and it was produced between ‘81 and ‘85 so any of those years would do. It’s almost as if they’d given us the E30 325i instead of the M3.
Yeah, but that does not make it a Turbo, as in the particular Turbo model. I get that I seem nit-picky, but if you’re a Volvo geek like me these things matters. As I just said, it’s comparable to saying a 325i and an M3 is the same thing.I'm sure you'll just be able to turbocharge it.
Not sure why there's talk of GT8 this year, be it an announcement or release (already confirmed not happening by Sony itself). There's nothing that I would like to confidently or definitively say. The list might get carried over to the next game, it might get finished with GT7, or it might get finished and even expanded upon with GT7. I would take anything about the next GT with a grain of salt unless it's coming from PD themselves.
Considering how detail-oriented they are with adding cars to the game, my guess is that they chose this year and trim because it was the year and trim that they had a real-life example of for scanning. There are several cars in the game with strange year/trim choices like this. Why on earth did they choose the year ‘93 for the Volvo? Why?! They clearly don’t get it.
Yeah, you’re probably right.Considering how detail-oriented they are with adding cars to the game, my guess is that they chose this year and trim because it was the year and trim that they had a real-life example of for scanning. There are several cars in the game with strange year/trim choices like this.
Is it unequivocally proven that it’s a ‘93 model showing up on Thursday?Yeah, but that does not make it a Turbo, as in the particular Turbo model. I get that I seem nit-picky, but if you’re a Volvo geek like me these things matters. As I just said, it’s comparable to saying a 325i and an M3 is the same thing.
Edit: Nevermind, it’s just a bit frustrating.
