Finally hands with a better grip. Now I'm going to buy this game on Day One...

GTS as of today has 84 layouts.

Must have been missing the reverse layouts then, cheers

Lots of sources state lots of different things so it's very confusing

I read from a japanese friend of mine on Facebook who got a friend who's an internal at Polyphony Digital Inc.'s 'human resources department' saying that some tuner brands such as BLITZ, Re-Amemiya (he mentioned about one of their recent builds being a Mazda with a bodykit resembling a Ferrari 330 P4 is gonna be featured in the game), Amuse and Mine's might come back bringing some of their personal cars (aside from those coming from SPORT), perhaps mostly new ones with some of their old ones as well hopefully.

He also said there might be the Opera Performance 350Z coming back as well, but only as part of a bodykit for the stock one I guess, hope it ain't the case; while as for just tuning parts, he mentioned about Top Secret parts for majority of Nissan GT-Rs are scheduled for the game.

Keep in mind all of these are just rumors so far and nothing is confirmed yet as of now naturally, don't quote on me at all of course and take it all with lots of salt.

So let me see if I have this straight. When a company announces a future video game I'm not allowed to have any hopes and wishes for that game, and when the game is announced, any aspects of that game not expressly promised by the company beforehand I have no right in being upset about, because they didn't promise it? Have I got that right?

You heard that folks. Anyone hoping for better AI in GT7? If it doesn't come you can't complain, they didn't promise it. What's that, you're hoping they improve the physics? Sorry, they didn't promise that either.

Have you got the list of things they did promise Lee, so we can cross reference them and know what we can be disappointed about and what we can't?
You could hope all you want but if you know the past history what they offer from last 25 year for this game and expect something crazy to change that on you. No one will stop you being disappoint about the game. You don’t have to like what PD do and promise. It your choice and your money. Your decision and no one forcing you like this game.

Like others have stated, looks like GTS was the prologue for GT7 after all. I’m ok with that.

We’ll get our full-fat new gen Gran Turismo game in 3-4 years right around when they release PlayStation 5 pro. I’m willing to bet PD already has a team developing the game….

Stamp it!

That whole scene is just weird. Like I said, why are there no roads? What is it supposed to be representing? Even the dirt paths don't actually go anywhere, just around all the buildings. Nothing is to scale, the runway at the airport is about 100ft long, the bus is about the same height as a replica of the Coliseum?

It's like one of those pictures that you longer you look at it, the more that seems wrong.

I'd rather the old one they showed us back in 2020, it still looks, at least for me, great!

Gathering photos and info for the tuning thread. Live the mechanics working in the background of the garage. Hope we get to see them building other cars from our garage. And or players on our friends list(that's me dreaming). :)

High Speed Ring seen in action! I'm hyped. There are doubtlessly more circuits not seen yet, likely a few real ones, more returning originals, and a snow location for certain.
They promised that it would be nostalgic. There's nothing more nostalgic than reusing the same AI they've used for the past 15 years
If they could at least apply the 'Boost!' to AI cars to give them good pace like 1-4 that'd be nice.

Well the maximum possible is 99 layouts, since they said 90+. There are currently 84 in GTS.

2 - HSR I & II
2 - Trial Mountain I & II
2 - Daytona (If it's the same as GT6, they may have added some of the other layouts)

Gets us to 90. That leaves us with at the most 9 more layouts across however many locations, at worst 1 more.

I suppose that some from GTS don't return, but it seems unlikely.

I'll say it:

In my opinion most of the complaining for graphics is dued to the abundance of gameplay in recent GT trailers.
If we had a classic rock and roll cinematic GT trailer we would probably be less salty.

As for the gt world map, I'm not that bummed but I like the one from the first trailer a lot more.
Perhaps it will be customizable I hope

The worst potential outcome of many new tracks not being included from launch is the impact it could have on the campaign.

Let’s say Motegi or Tokyo R246 get added in a post-release update, then they would likely be allocated to various events similar to how new circuits were implemented in GT Sport’s GT League. So basically, obtain gold here too, done!

I hope I’m wrong and that PD has come up with a more clever way of doing it, but right now the campaign might very well be another clone of the forgettable structure having dragged down progression systems since GT5.

You know, I wouldn't mind if they took out an existing track like, say, Alsace, and replaced it with a brand new original track. Get the guy who designed Lago Maggiore and/or Dragon Trail.

I hope I can put the main menu in permanent night mode.

At least it isn't bound by GT Sport's structure, which didn't have a proper career mode in mind...

It should be with them generating the 3D model of the tuning parts.
GT6 had a crap career mode. It was too easy and honestly felt quite rushed. I don't get that feeling when I look at GT7.
I still want to see what'll GT7 bring about the campaign as especially it's the one brought up in the opening before, so far the screenshot had the past one in the License.

There is one overhead shot from the trailer that will be used to say "muhh graphics bad" "muhh favorite racing game looks visually superior than this" even though the rest of what they've shown look phenomenal.
I think it's probably on how the rain is handled in this game, and probably there's not much to defend but I wanna see you try.

Yeah, probably I hope the world map can be customizable too, but it also fulfills my wish of time changing on the map depending on noon/night. And I think the good thing is also they had detailed buildings for the menu. I hope in later GTs if GT7 won't have it GT can use the map for free roam.
