Still no NASCAR after Daytona....

Now there's sparks.

I know I wouldn't want to use them to show of the road course, even if it was the extra chicken layout ! I'd hold out to see some stock cars still, especially with getting the oval layout as well.

How satisfying is to see a full screen replay, I really hope it's in the final game. The letterbox styled replays on GT Sport are super annoying.

I appreciate how fancy it makes the replays look and PD always were masters of framing a car on screen but it should be a option if the player wants the black bars or not.

I just have one question. Will they show us the teased Nascar layout later, maybe with Nascars?
Track looks very good, maybe they choose the 24h layout for Group 3 racing. Expressing that Daytona has 3 different layouts.

No new cars this time, except that they all feature new liveries, suggesting that a ton of real-world and/or original liveries will be part of the color selection of these race cars. Looks like a mix of IMSA, FIA WEC, Nurburgring 24h and Blancpain in there.

I think that's what's happening this time. Race cars will have multiple default liveries to choose from, as it should be.

Only 16 cars on track... I really hope we can get at least 30 cars grid and multiclass racing.
Graphic wise I thought Forza horizon 5 is better but I was so wrong. No game comes close to gt7 in terms of graphics.
I showed the replay to my girlfriend she legit thought it's real life. Put the video in 4k it's insane.
Imagine 24h race with proper multiclass racing🤤

The 16 cars on track is likely one of the trade off for the nice visuals we're getting.

I really like how they show us some clean footage with no music or fancy editing. Just clean footage with no hud, same way how i play the game. And its nice to see full screen replays, they showed some clean angles with RT this time that was missing last time. Im more than ready bring it on!.

Seems that the graphics tend to look better when it's not really bright.... (like also GTS' Nurburgring at its delay).

Along with the visuals and custom default/AI liveries, the other thing I really appreciate is the enhanced sound mix present in the cockpit view clip (gearshifts, wind noise, clattering over kerbs, etc.). Reminds me very much of my experiences playing ACC, which can only be a big positive for Polyphony in that department.

Sony and PD can push more marketing but i doubt any notable marketing push will translate into actual sales. I haven’t forgot about ps4 owners (me). From what I’ve observed with sony over the last 20yrs is they market games they know will be a blockbuster. GT in my opinion is mainly made for those who already know and play the game series, seems silly to make a ton of marketing material that’s presents the same game but with different visuals and effects a la PS5. Im holding my breath on the ps4 version

I didn’t notice a difference in sound in and out of slipstream(watching on my iPad). At 2:51, sounds like someone clicking the gears from a wheel, in the foreground.

I think, the really big news like soundtrack we get at first announced After the Media Event end of january, if That will happen. So anytime in February, i guess we get concrete news.

I like it a lot. Little disappointed with engine, transmission and tyre sounds. Nice car movements tho.

Yeah, not a fan of too much tyre screech at the exit of the chicane. However, if TCS is on, seemed smoother at the slow corners, than in GTS.

Yeah, not a fan of too much tyre screech at the exit of the chicane.

As in GTS, it's needed to understand grip level better, even if you have good FFB. I even increase the sound level of this to +5dB. But of course, if you want "realism", just lower it instead.

from Kaz interview we know they work with Lightning and Igor so maybe one from them raced in this trailer

Was hoping AMG GT3 would get a sound fix since it's very inaccurate to the real sound in GTS. Probably indicative that no others will get any corrections as well unfortunately.

As always though, pretty as heck. Full screen replay, stable shadows, nice cockpit view movement, different liveries on all of the cars. Small stuff but I like what has been shown here.

How do you know? And scripted behaviour means programmed. A lot of trailers and promotional material is based on scripted behaviours. I'm not saying it absolutely is, but it's certainly a probability.

I agree with you big time! I’m praying for a cockpit lock option for online use or at least an indicator letting you know what view the driver is in. As for the AI I will use them to sharping my skills but as being competitive I just don’t as excited competing against them.

IF we see NASCAR Cup cars added to the game, I sincerely hope they're the new for '22 "NASCAR NextGen" cars rather than the outgoing Gen6 cars. When it comes to adding disciplines/licenses in as a whole(in this case NASCAR stock cars), I personally feel they should be represented by the most current and up-to-date variant of the product.
