There is a rumored PS5 event planned for September 9 and they will apparently show more gameplay for GT7!!!!!

Do you think it's okay to deny me the endurance races that I want to do? I still have to do the silly little 2 and 3 lap races don't I?
Given what's happened in recent games, I doubt there will be any of these longer races.

The Gran Turismo Instagram page put up a short clip from the announcement trailer; their first post in 2 months. "Get ready... For next gen" it says.

I was pretty disappointed in that post. I woke up and checked IG only to half see that they made a post, and then gave myself a solid wake up to watch what they posted and it was some old stuff lol.

Probably not worth mentioning, but Playstation have been changing the banners of their social media channels to one that features a screenshot of GT7.
The game selection seems odd - they don’t appear to be chosen based on the games taking full advantage of the PS5’s hardware (they’d most likely want to show Ratchet and Clank alongside a couple more games, though it’s worth mentioning that GT7 was explicitly mentioned to use all of the PS5’s new features, as well as utilise the features of the DualSense controller)
They aren’t showcasing games that are launch titles either (they could’ve easily thrown Spider-Man Miles Morales there, which is confirmed to be one). Horizon Forbidden West isn’t coming until next year, and although there have been rumours on Demons Souls being a launch title/releasing in the launch window, the game still hasn’t got a release date. Still though, it seems that Sony’s beginning to market the game a little more now (as well as start the PS5’s actual marketing campaign)

Spiderman MM, we have seen anything or almost, it will be release in late 2020
Demon Souls have been rated in Korea, no date but possible candidate for launch and we have seen anything too
Ratchet & Clank, we have seen a small demo with gameplay : launch window (until springs 2021, I think)
So, GT7, no date but we have seen gameplay (menu, tuning, lap on Trial Mountain). Launch or a bit after still possible.
Based on a trailer for Call of Duty, PS5 will be release in december in the rest of world, maybe. Sony can release this game for European market ?
Unfortunately, communication is so nonexistant that it is difficult to make assumptions.

I think with this strange shift to displaying GT7 in the banners, the haptic touch articles, and a couple other contributing factors it's going to be a launch title.

The Master Car list isn't a complete, finished list of every single car that will be in GT7, it's a list of cars we've seen so far in official media releases. Official media releases to date consists of a single, two-minute video.
No idea how you got the impression that GT7 was releasing with only the 41 cars listed in the post...
