Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the entire GT series has still never featured an E36 M3? And I can't figure out why. It's by far the most common and popular M car across the globe.
It is a frustrating omission, however I doubt it's the most common across the globe. The E46 that came after it sold significantly more (including only 2 body styles, versus the 3 body styles of the E36 M3), and if we're counting the M4 as a new M3, the F8x generation decimated the sales figures of the E36. I'd rather have an E36 M3 than the standard E30 M3 they've added for GT7 personally.

I guess I really am getting old, I've never heard of a single artist on there.

Rosalia was in the new GTA Online update she's good and she's promoting her album and games are part of the PR cycle i guess.Or maybe Kaz is a fan 😂

I find it honestly surprising to see that PD decided to add another e30 M3 and 2 3.0 CSLs. I mean, they always been a creature of habit when it comes to adding multiple variations of a car, but that usually was with Japanese cars. Seeing that on European cars was a rarity.

but yeah, I would prefer to see an e36 M3 and the new g82 M4 (it's still ugly in the front, but it's stiil a good performance coupe) versus a 2nd variation of the cars I previously mentioned.

Here's something I haven't seen talked about (and maybe it's nothing). On the garage screen, there is an option for "Virtual Garage". This may just be the same pick a background and snap a picture that is in GT Sport, just renamed (and it probably is). But the way these options are grouped, it isn't with the perhaps more functionally similar "Scapes Movies" (assuming that is the little preview videos we have in Sport) or at the end (like you might expect a "settings" type of function to be) but is instead grouped with "Car Collection". Probably nothing.

Would love something like in PGR 4 where you were able to place cars in a garage and walk around to admire your collection (or play Geometry Wars!)

No racing game since has given quite the same sense of actually owning your cars that you got from PGR 3 and 4. It's a bit of a shame, really.
TDU 1 and 2 did this aswell of course, but I mostly preferred PGR 4's implementation of it.

Imagine being able to walk around your GT garage with ray tracing enabled, with various different properties/environments to choose from...

Also hope those eight dots under the Beetle are for scrolling through the cars in your garage. Would love to have that instead of jumping out each time like GTS. I’ll stare at my cars all day.

For the people who use interior view I hope PD lets us be able to turn our lights on and off during any period so we can actually have our gauges lit. I have been in many situations where I can’t see my dials because of the lighting of the track during the event.

Hopefully they will also fix some bugs where the car gauges aren't lit at all, the Huayra has a speedometer and tachometer that is always turned off

One of my journalist friends from Argentina told me a few hours ago that he's reason why so many people were spamming "boring" and "zzz" in caps during the State Of Play stream.
Yeah, using the "zzzzzz" and "god" on a name, like... "Gran Turismozzz" or "GOD Turismo" became quite popular around here, i didn't know he was the reason of that though xD

Based on what we've seen in the GT7 Announcement Trailer, those dots should represent different camera angles in the garage. The following image is from an older build, but i think their function will remain the same.

Gotta say,i already miss the serene replay angles from GTSport,Music Replay is a bit hectic,it works well in low powered cars but faster ones make the camera go nuts,it's still beautiful tho.

And there are seven dots in this pic. If those are different views, that’s a lot of choices. A press of the Triangle to clear the icons and using the right joystick, could be a better option to view the car. However, as pointed out above, maybe that what‘s Virtual Garage is for.

My profile photo agrees.

I wonder when was that background picture for "over 400 cars" made and if it's possible they added more cars to the final car list since. Most likely it is final though, and new cars will arrive with updates.
Also, I remember how at first we had "over 420" number and everyone was speculating about how much it will grow from there, while very few people thought "420+" can be just the target number they want to reach when the game launches. And it seems right now "420" is the exact number of cars we are getting, at least if we assume the "over 400 cars" picture has everything in it.

I think there will be the normal replay mode along with this new mode. Alternative replay modes already had in GT4 - which I didn't use because it was too confusing, as well as this new mode.

It's probably 427 considering the few X, Y and Z cars that are cut out at the last row and earlier screenshots showing a car collection of 427. Plus currently I think the amount of cars spotted in that image + trailers is like ~424 with a few GT Sport cars yet to be spotted.
