Looking at the replays, one thing that seems to have been removed from the cars during races is the car number decal that was automatically added to cars in GT Sports.
Yep. No number plate in the Road to GT7 series. I think it’s a preview to what we can expect for GT7.

Hey guys, I dont know if this was asked before and I coudnt find anything about it. Will the cars get dirty? With the addition (return) of the car wash I wonder what is it for... if the cars do not get dirt (visually) why the heck is it there?

Some good points about career ambiguity. Seems like it would make more sense to have a career driven gameplay where you buy your car, do some license tests, enter championship section with dedicated series like the old games, and then venture over to GT Cafe if you want.

Most likely yeah if not what’s the whole point of adding car wash

I might be wrong but it really seems like GT Café is the main campaign and the races will function more like "track days"?
You enter whatever championship is available on a track:
Willow Springs has the Sunday Cup open, enter the race.
Basically going around the world map looking for tracks with races open for your Acqua. 😂
It could be a cool change for the campaign structure.

Well, I can say that the start-up for career mode is different from past games, not exactly the different all people will like me included. I hated the fixed tutorial sections of the Forza Horizon games and I'm going to hate this.

On a more positive note, I can't wait to see the modifications for the other cars. I hope that the GTS-R kit is back for the 2002 Viper GTS, I'm imagining that with the livery editor to recreate this:

Call me crazy, but wasn't music replay a thing in GT3? And it was a lot better too?
There was something like that, yeah. Gran Turismo 4 also had it.

I find it interesting that statement from Kazunori, where he said that the tuning screen was made in order to take easy screenshots, this was the early design for the tuning section... View attachment 1111770

...I guess he was right, that early menu had all things categorized, sure, but IMO you had to take much more screenshots than the final UI.

I still find it slightly bonkers that instead of building in functionality to share tuning in game or even creating an in-game tuning sheet export function, they went with making the screen easier to screenshot.

They already have the Showcase for sharing photos, was it too hard to make a button that auto-screenshots the relevant pages and uploads it to your own Showcase? Like, that's a bad solution, but it's still slicker than expecting people to screenshot the game and share the images using external means.

It's a confusing decision considering what Forza has been able to do.

can't wait to get back to the nürburgring in GT7 photos and GIFs will rain :gtpflag:

Pretty much, that had way more effects as well (Personal favorite being the blur and color effects). Having that red filter with the blur while watching my race at Trail Mountain to the beat of Strike Breaker was simply an experience nothing else has managed to come close to ever since for me.

The portion with the widebody has me very excited. The more I've thought about the potential, I'm now hoping that I can give both the trucks a Prerunner bodykit like this:

Combine that with the massive amount of tuning along with livery editor and suddenly, the otherwise not great "Rally" tracks in GT become amazing Off-Road Racing tracks as I initially wanted to do in GTS. It won't entirely be PRO 4s at Glen Helen, but I feel like it would make these two a hell of a lot of fun to race.

Personally, I hope that we see much longer races than the crappy GT6 omissions of endurance races. Especially now that we have day/night cycles, there's no excuse for not having a literal "All night" race on the Tokyo expressway, going 9 hours from 10 pm to 7 am. That game really pissed me off when it acted like "Oh damn be careful and get yourself a jug of water. Make sure someone is in the room to collect your piss bottles because you're gonna be racing SEVEN (7) LAPS OF SILVERSTONE!
