Extremely unlikely. Makes sense for liveries to be transferable, not so much anything else.Any progress (beside liveries) transfer from Sport to 7? Achievements, ranks, stats? I deleted my save file recently (100+wins, poles, etc.) and started to worry after hearing about liveries transfer news.
It is, but it leads to World Circuits. There are no campaign menus like this:
They don't exist. The events are, as already said, reached via World Circuits.
By process of elimination that is what the chequered flag icon is.

And we already know what World Circuits menu looks like:
That is it. That's where we find all offline racing content. It's a bold choice. A lot of casual fans might think there is no career mode again.
Oh shoot, I wasn't even thinking about those. That would rock! The portion with the widebody has me very excited. The more I've thought about the potential, I'm now hoping that I can give both the trucks a Prerunner bodykit like this:
Exactly my thinking 😊Not sure if anyone’s mentioned it already, but I think that when we first go to the UCD for our first car, we’ll be able to pick between the three cars within the Japanese Compact Cars selection, being the Toyota Aqua, the Honda Fit Hybrid, and the Mazda Demio XD.
In other words, we’ll still have a choice of a first car rather than being gifted one like in GT6 and GTS, but it’ll be one of three very specific cars. Not that I mind - I think I’ll go for the Aqua. Then, I think we’ll get the others - and possibly another one for the car we initially picked - as prize cars early-on in the campaign, licenses, and so on. So I still plan to spend as few credits as I can throughout the campaign, then go nuts with buying cars/modifications when I’ve completed the campaign. Gotta say, that journey is looking mighty fun...
Well, it seems they'll give the illusion of choice but yes, really you're picking between those three. The screenshots are all mixed up in terms of progression but I saw a few early ones where the starting credits seem to be 20,000. Now look how many cars are under 20,000....Not sure if anyone’s mentioned it already, but I think that when we first go to the UCD for our first car, we’ll be able to pick between the three cars within the Japanese Compact Cars selection, being the Toyota Aqua, the Honda Fit Hybrid, and the Mazda Demio XD.

Although the options do look limited, those may not be your only 3 choices. At 3:00 in the SoP video, when buying your first car, there is also a Suzuki Swift available for 16,275. But, considering the similarity of the car lists and the fact that the Swift is in an earlier build of the game, it's possible PD made a change to ensure there aren't other options under 20,000.Well, it seems they'll give the illusion of choice but yes, really you're picking between those three. Lol true, the globe-format menu brings Burnout 3 too into my mind. Though GT7's globe menu is ironically less detailed than the Burnout games or Forza Motorsport 4's World Tour; it doesn't go directly into the destination's environment itself (at least in the GT7's Announcement Trailer, wasn't seen how's the animation for the latest GT World).View attachment 1111939
It only occurred to me just now that GT7 has an offline campaign mode similar to Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) – or to an extent, the Burnout series (notably Burnout 3: Takedown and Burnout Revenge. Events – outside Championships – are reachable per track, and new events are only unlocked once you've leveled enough to unlock a new track.
Even the tracks in Burnout 3 are categorized in the same manner as well

I think it's this way as the first part of the game is effectively a set tutorial, so it wants you to have certain things for the tutorial to go how they want it.Although the options do look limited, those may not be your only 3 choices. Yeah looks really nice and fits perfectly on a ultra wide monitor.View attachment 1111911
I hope we get this view in gameplay because that Fov is juicy
You can barely see the track with so many things in the forefront.I prefer the "face glued to the dashboard with no wheel" camera viewView attachment 1111911

This. With the pre-order credits would we be able to buy a higher spec/price car or will the game not allow it to be used?Does it have to be one of there chosen cars maybe?I hope to use the preorder amount of credits for buying first car. So the under 20,000 Cr. are an option, but I won‘t have the option to pay more than 50,000 Cr.,which should be the limit.
So no GT League and Championships in GT7 career?I see a lot of peope confused with the unlock of tracks, this was on all the trailers to today.
You gonna unlock tracks by complet the café menu.
I dont know if gonna works but this is diferent to past iterations and I really like it.

Who is confused? We're all aware everything is locked behind Cafe collections.I see a lot of peope confused with the unlock of tracks, this was on all the trailers to today.

GT Café really is the campaign, with "GT League" right behind it.Who is confused? We're all aware everything is locked behind Cafe collections.
GT League? No. Championships? Yes.So no GT League and Championships in GT7 career?
But it does mean many less races in the career because you don't have to do every championship for every league level but just the championship once, a bit underwhelming for the longevity of the game, right?GT League? No. Championships? Yes.
The familiar events of GT League have simply been moved under the individual tracks on the World Circuits screen.
Unfortunately you're forced to pick those three. I want a Miata, seen in other screens and totally attainable, but seeing as how the GT Cafe is the only option, they want you to have the illusion of choice. Instead of buying something else or upgrading the car you own, you must buy the remaining two ****boxes to progress. Not sure if anyone’s mentioned it already, but I think that when we first go to the UCD for our first car, we’ll be able to pick between the three cars within the Japanese Compact Cars selection, being the Toyota Aqua, the Honda Fit Hybrid, and the Mazda Demio XD.

I don't think you will have only 3 cars, because in the used dealership you have many more options for lower priceUnfortunately you're forced to pick those three. Since they said over 100 race events, seems like it's about as long as GT6 was which was also over a hundred races. But it does mean many less races in the career because you don't have to do every championship for every league level but just the championship once, a bit underwhelming for the longevity of the game, right?
