Doesn't look like a damp track so, perhaps oil or engine refresh overdue? 😆
Perfect when using the DB5. ;)

Edit: Regarding the Scapes, one of the scapes being shown, was said to be upcoming DLC. That’s probably the one less.

I wonder if we gonna need to buy the car that has the engine or paint chip that we want to use in another car! Or we can just buy the paint chip alone!?

How will Renault Sport be treated in GT7, since it was merged into Alpine in May this year?
The Clio V6 is still displayed as an R.S. car in a picture on the official website, but is it the same in the product version?

Once I posted about the treatment of Renault Sport in GT7, but just noticed that the Mégane R.S. is treated as a Renault car, not Alpine.

I saw that the recent models sometimes written as "Renault Mégane R.S.", so it's more natural to be merged into Renault?

By the way, I still don't know the details about the rebranding of R.S., but are there any successors of existing R.S. models?

As there haven't been any Alpine/Renault Sport models yet, there is no reason to change them. The cars that already exist are Renault models. I personally found it odd that GTS separated Renault Sport into it's own manufacturer.

That really confused me. You have so many scapes available, why would you show off one that isn't in the game at launch?

Perhaps it's optional DLC? I recall the first time Scapes was introduced, only a hand-pick of scapes are available, and there was the option to download the full collection as DLC which took quite a lot of storage.

I do recall that GT Sport had additional Scapes day one as separate download due to huge size of those scapes. I guess this could be the same with GT7.

I really wish they would share a road map for the future. If I knew the track creator was well on its way I wouldn't mind that they spent so much time and effort on Scapes 😂

I’d like to hear more about a potential companion app. I definitely remember that well after GT Sport’s launch (as well as its respective companion app) I saw a job listing on PD’s website, for a mobile developer.

Question: Why Kaz.&co. don't lay the possibility to set the game on 1080p 60fps 'ray tracing'? Considering the huge impact that a more accurate light reflection model has in a 'wheater-changing' racing game, I think it is way more enjoyable and realistic have high details in terms of shadows and reflections intsead of mere 4k definition.

Because supposedly it's very subtle. Also in a racing game extra clarity is very helpful as you are moving quickly and need to be able to see the cars and road ahead.

Understood, 1080p would be too much subtle for 2022. If I'm not wrong GTSport runs in 2k on PS4 and looks very good; maybe an intermediate resolution 1440p would be enough clever to make 'RayTracing On' a viable choice (?)

Sport on base PS4 is 1080p
Sport on PS4 pro is checkerboarded 1800p so 1600x1800p(3200x1800)

We know GT7 is native 4K 60fps in gameplay and 4K30 for ray tracing replays. They could probably drop the resolution to somewhere between 1440p and 1800p for 60fps ray tracing gameplay. As that 30fps mode probably has some headroom if it was uncapped it would probably be fluctuating up to the mid 40fps range.

I’d rather they have us a 120fps mode though.

I wonder if they're going to give the same treatment to the the DS3, if it's gonna be a Citroen or a DS Automobile.

Just noticed from the screenshots that the FF Challenge and FR Challenge are labelled as ‘Japanese FF/FR Challenge 450’. Anyone have any thoughts on this??

I assume the Japanese part limits it to Japanese cars, but what about the 450?
