I disagree, somewhat. I feel like made-for-game cars have almost always been a part of GT since at least GT4 with the Nike One. Plus, they allow the engineers to do almost whatever they like.
so just as a quick confirmation, do those vision cars actually drive or something? they are just concept cars so are they designed by engineers or just by designers to look good?

From what I understand, they’re designed by both engineers and designers. I might be wrong, though. But even then, concept cars have always been a part of GT.

A few were actually brought to real life, and others ended up inspiring future designs.

With all the customization options we’ll be getting, I’m much more OK with potentially winning duplicates. And that’s assuming we won’t be able to sell them for some extra credits this time around. Heck, I might even keep several of the same exact model around, depending on how the potential engine swaps work.
This time I’m probably keeping a few duplicates myself, as if you do the wide body conversion you can’t go back.
Pre-install this Friday,for digital anyway.Cant wait.👍👍
I’m not looking forward to that. That just means no sleep for a week! (Too excited to sleep)
Where is the gif "It's happening"? ;) (I don't have it)

The legendary GIF has returned.

Well, I suppose I had also forgotten to address something similar - the overlap between the potential events for the Super Formula racers and the Super GT cars within Gr.2. I would certainly hope Twin Ring Motegi does return, either at launch or as DLC, as with it, most of the Super Formula/Super GT courses would be available, between Fuji, Suzuka, and Autopolis also being present.

So I don’t really know how I’d potentially differentiate the two. Maybe for the Super GT championship, if DTM racers are added, it could become a broader DTM/Super GT500 championship, including some DTM venues like Brands Hatch, Spa-Francorchamps, Nurburgring GP, Monza, and the Red Bull Ring. (Especially since it seems like the real-world Super GT500/DTM combination only lasted for one non-championship race.)
There should be endurance championships regarding this, like Super GT500 Championship using the tracks used for Super GT as well as the length (lap number) for those Super GT500 races.
