Concerning the announcement trailer of June, are marbles of rubber ouside off the line a new thing in Gran Turismo? I spotted them inside the corner at 2:36, and since I skipped the PS4 and GTS I don't know if this is new or not.

You can find them in the outside lines everywhere in GT Sport currently. I don't think running on them has any handling effect in my experience though

(I think the car looks great btw, but the color they chose to reveal it in was a really stupid choice. Would look so much nicer in a silver or metallic blue.)

Until I see proof that it is, I will remain skeptical.

They only have this issue whilst driving. The headlights on these cars go to how they should be just by pausing the game strangely enough. I can't imagine they're lower quality models by default if they're properly rendered everywhere else in the game. The Lancia Stratos also has this issue since GT6.

How long is the event? I'm expecting a 2-5 minutes GT7 trailer showing more of the campaign and improved visuals and audio.

I'm thinking a new song, a trip thru the tuning parts shop, a new track and a some classic Japanese cars(Cosmo, Skyline, 2000GT, Fairlady Z).

This (assumed) trailer really is going to be telling, in the sense that it's either going to lay out a lot of the key features and content in a game that is nearly finished and close to release (within 6 months) or it's going to be another small teaser with a release date much further into the distance, or still none at all.

What I'm hoping to see is something new in terms of the career mode, a total revamp instead of copy/paste the GT1-6 formula with a few sprinkles, but I'm not exactly confident. Hopefully PD surprise me.

The Kaz monologue in the trailer especially refers to the campaign as the one in GT7 that will make players happy (they didn't refer to features like UCD or Tuning, but obviously that also makes others happy already). But obviously yeah no info yet regarding that, or the definition of what'll make players happy to them (dunno if just nostalgia with same system like before? but their tag isn't only "past and present", but also "future" as well...).

40 minutes.

I expect a date (for launch ou 2021), too.
I don't expect any release date if I'm being honest.

I have feeling it will be just the same old GT campaign with new features and stuff. I hope I'm wrong because GT single player needs major overhaul
