All together now, "PD, if you all are reading this, we can't tell the difference between an in-house or outsourced model. Thank you.".
The headlights on the 930 Turbo and 2008 Fiat 500 come to mind. They both use a lower quality LOD model on them than say the GR Supra does. The inconsistencies are there.

Good news for the car list!
It seems that an Indian company helps Polyphony to model cars : https://www.izmoltd.com/

"First car done for this Project 'Toyota Tundra TRD Pro' has been showcased in the trailer. I was responsible for creating Mid- poly models of Interior and Exterior. And also sculpting of cloth details of the Interior of the car. Other cars which I have worked on have not yet released."

A team works in India for Gran Turismo.

3 months to model the Toyota if you read the comments.
"Thank you so much. It took nearly 3 months. We didnt get cad data .. we got the scan."
PD have finally gotten off their arse in regards to outsourcing. Good.

Not that I'm sure you do either, I don't even mind the inconsistencies. The Ford Mk IV. GT40's interior looks 100% to be a GT6 port (im pretty convinced it is till I see proof it isn't lol)

The thing is, its still easily the nicest looking, and most accurate Ford GT MK IV in any racing game by far.

Which are in-house or outsourced?

I can't believe how G'd up I am for Wednesday. The disappointment if there's no news will be devastating, I fear.

I've never been this excited about a new GT before, and that's saying something. :gtpflag:
It will be Thursday morning for us.

The only thing that will be confirmed for sure is whether or not it will be a launch title or not... Which would be EXTREMELY unexpected considering the studio making the game. It would be a welcome surprise if the game is more complete than we thought though.

Even 'though I joined GTP 15 years ago, I've managed to keep my expressions of enthusiasm confined to my living room. Kinda like a fan club of 1. :dunce:

The extra-long wait between GT6 and 7 seems to have drawn me out of the woodwork, so thank you for helping me feel like I'm not mad, man. I don't wanna pollute this place with hype and no content, so I felt guilty even for those couple 'o posts where all I did was say how excited I am. :odd:

That said, did I mention how excited I am? Words can't describe, man. :gtpflag:

As I am too !

And in the size of the giant leap it would be between GT 6 and GT 7 :sly:

Not to be overly possitive about cars featured in GT7, but Nissan is doing it's unveil of the next Z car on the same date. Could their be a possibility of this car showcased (IF we get anything GT related) in a trailer of something?

I mean I am kinda leaning towards that but I want to keep my expectations low aswell.

Would be sick tho!

Not during the PS5 event, that's earlier in the day than the Nissan Z reveal. But there's a possiblity that a GT7 clip with the new Z might be shown during or after the Z reveal. Who knows, I don't think the date's have been deliberately set to coincide.

16th september finally new ps5 event on first party games GT7 will 90% feature too in the event, oh my gosh finaly! I hope not anymore delays on GT7 info because a part from dualsense feed experience we didn't receive anything else after 20 june.... Hope to see another trailer in the game wedsneday in the event, and new info!

I don't have any hopes for a 2020 release...
And also that up coming PS5 event will not show anything from GT7(because they already showed something in the june event)...Just my thoughts!

I have the same feeling as well but I hope I'm wrong though. If GT7 will not appear in the upcoming PS5 showcase then it will definitely not come out this year.

I also have doubts that GT7 will be out this year, but only because of Covid-19 and not "because of PD's history" like everyone else has been saying. But hey, surprises are always welcome.

But honestly, just give me a new GT7 trailer with a new Daiki Kasho song in it this Wednesday and that'll make the wait more bearable if it's indeed out in 2021.

I think could be launch game or at worst March-April 2021, considering they putting the box already the game could be very later stage in develop.... maybe December 2020 or April 2021

It’s important to note that Sony have said they’ll be showcasing games that’ll be launching with the PS5, as well as games coming in the future. GT7 may show up, but that doesn’t by any means guarantee it’ll release this year.

IMHO logic would dictate that something must be shown in order to maintain some sort of continuity following the June announcement and trailer.

To put it another way:
There'd be no point in starting a hype train in June if you're gonna miss the most-obvious opportunity to catalyse momentum in September IMHO. YMMV.

"Hey kids, GT7 is coming out this Fall, so make sure to ask your parents for a PS5 for Christmas so you can it when it comes out!" or something like that.
