In custom races you can.

also I just realized I can drive Gr.4 and 3 cars that I dont own in the custom races, Ill try recording some audio some people requested

Edit: well nvm, I can't drive it but the opponent can, I guess that still works for the sake of demoing the sound

Oh chosen one! I wanna ask a couple of questions :D

- Are the actual pitstops still cutscenes or "proper"? I heard the streamer went through the pits during a career race and just drove through without cutscene, but no pit service obviously. Would be cool to know! :)

- Is it possible to save custom race setups?

- Are contact physics at all improved, or cars still react like ping pong balls / bumper cars?

No way!!! After 10 years, we finally get the official full SPEC 2.0 version.

10 effing years...
Nah, I wouldn't call it the Spec II version. The guitars sound too different from the original Spec II version.

I'd rather call it the GT7 version, instead, in the same vein as MOtC.

Curious it has the "KATANA" name and logo from Suzuki Motorcycle lineup.
Maybe its engine is the same as the motorbike ?:boggled:
Or probably an hommage
The livery is inspired by the Swift Sport Katana Edition. That It's only a stock Swift Sport with some upgrades in suspension and exhaust.
And yes, Katana is a hommage to the motorcycle.

it's the GT5's SPEC 2.0 version with some added bits
EDIT: Actually, I'm not so sure it's that. Lux Klonoa pointed out some differences that separate it from the Spec 2.0 version. I even think the vocals are a bit different in tone.

Some quick bursts of info for some of the info people requested, sorry If I missed some of you guys, you have to unlock all the racetracks doing the career and I don't have enough money to buy some of the cars like the Pace car and GT3 car.

- Regarding the pace car lights, at least in the controls section there doesn't seem to be any options to turn off the lights.
but there is the option to turn on and off the windshield wipers (which I believe weren't in GTS?)

- the Gr.4 Supra is right hand drive

- Controls. You are able switch acceleration/braking buttons. (And to the person asking yes you can set the up/down shift to R2/L2

- Full Soul on Display (sorry there is the ui button press sound when I press play)

Edit: I also like that at the end of a race when you're getting your rewards and such the background sound is that of a car's engine turned off (all the pinging and clanging)

Edit: I also love the GT Cafe, its so effortlessly moody and chill and it actually teaches you about some of these cars.
Did you notice if you he Supra had a roll cage/race interior?

So, now there's the PP back again. On top of that I suppose there will be a BoP for Gr.3, Gr. 4, etc., right?

So, how will PD justify, If the PPs for all cars in a certain group don't match when BoP'd...? Just wondering.

Pretty niche having the option to stay in the middle of the car. That's not realistic at all, but yet Kaz says having a mic on a lobby isn't realisti
Cue the McLaren F1 or the Speedtail, however not having dash cam does kinda sick.

- Gr.3 Sounds I Cant tell if there is much difference, someone please compare

- Pitstop footage (spoilers: yes)

- I dont think you can save custom races, but I haven't looked very deeply

- Contact physics seem improved(?) not sure if it is because of the dual sense and im not able to directly compare it to GTS since I uninstalled it. You can decide for yourself. Feels good to me

@NanoSaibou Have you got far enough into the game to see if they have standing starts?Just curious.
Not so far, you can in custom races tho

I doesnt looks like it

i contacted amazon to ship my shipment since the game is already leaked and they refuse lol
Yeah, that guy got fired I'm sure of it. Big screw up.
Yeah, seems pretty clear Jon Underdown re-recorded his vocals for this.
Was gonna say, the lyrics did sound like they weren't just reusing the same vocals from the original version. Super happy to hear we finally have that, though shocked that its not essentially the full version of the GT5 Spec 2.0 update but rather a remastered and slightly reworked version. That or its been like that and what we heard performed at the Asia Championship 2012 was a Earlier version.

For the visual parts, other than the rain effects (or specifically windshield), dunno if it's the game's fault or that now, there are no huge jump in graphics anymore like the obvious pixeled PS1 to PS2 and that now the graphics realism in gaming have reached the maximum....

This is still a cross-gen game at its core. I wouldn't take it as a sign for what's technically most possible on PS5.

Someone already answered you but yes it does. Definitely at least gets louder, I only have the sport muffler unlocked. I assume the Race Exhaust and such would get it even louder.
The tuning menus (not the aftermarket ones….the one where we can adjust camber, toe, differential settings, downforce, ect.

are they the same? Anything new, or taken out?
