Looks like the Limited Stock cars will get sold out like this

Its as if he's a casual player or something who isn't into racing games. Quite frankly even as a seasoned player, it is kinda really strange how bent some of you guys are about a casual player that's new to GT not knowing any better.
I s'pose it's partly due to the irony of our having waited many years and spent God knows how many hours here only to end up watching a noob play the actual game before we get a chance.

Surely a factor IMHO.

Then there's the repetition of the same mistakes over-and-over... for hours. No excuse for that regardless of your level of competence.

Oooo, I actually like the scenery of that layout.

More music commentary by me:
Daiki Kasho's "We are One" sounds similar to how it sounded in GT6, so the song remasters might be just to certain tracks.
Also, I just noticed the GT Auto theme or one of them is a remixed version of "The Entertainer". Heh, just like in Gran Turismo 5, except it's an even newer mix.

I still think the campaign structure and AI is going to be a major letdown, but holy moly the more I see of just about anything else just seems to be getting better and better.

Tuning and personalization is looking like it’ll be a complete revolution of anything we’ve had before, competitive play will have significantly more agency, and just about every single piece of content has massively more depth with unexpected new layouts, time, and weather variation.

I mean hey, he's one of the many who benefitted from Amazon's error (and boy, what an error it was)

Ok, that I didn't read. Sounds like he's not really fussed about getting better at that point, might even be doing it to troll people he know will throw a fit over him not doing well for all we know (which in that case, success for him then).

The campaign structure is so confusing I'm not sure why they wanted to drastically change that about it.

it had 4 peppers too...

The 4/5 peppers was interesting because it was it's own thing. It wasn't selected or ever hinted at lol

I noticed another thing about some of the music:
I'm beginning to think that all of the Daiki Kasho Songs were given a new version. First 50UL on display, then I heard from one of my subscribers (Yogo is his name) that Break Down was updated along with another song, but he forgot the name. I just started watching the stream linked above and heard an updated version of "What to Believe".

The only song I heard from Daiki Kasho that sounded the same was SURV1V3. Though maybe I heard it wrong and it was? I'm not so sure now.
SURVIV3 sounded different in the SoP video as well. Louder drums, the bass is different, etc.

Why aren't we discussing this in the Soundtrack topic, btw? lol

And btw, has anyone heard the track from the SoP when Kaz started talking? I'm really curious about that one.

Well, I didn't discuss it, because I haven't open any other pages other than this one in the past hour and didn't think to check.

and you're definitely right, because since I made that comment. I actually heard SUV1V3 and the instrumentals sounded different to me. Maybe I heard the "We are one" song wrong and the "Al1v3" song.

Out of curiosity for those of you who have already played some of the game, how does it look in comparison to the old game?

I really hope they add some karting tracks and have at least 30 cars in endurance races. I remember in gt sport there is a race with 30 cars so hopefully we'll have similar grid size.

This looks to me to replace GT6 as the worst GT of them all.
At least Clubman Cup Plus had standing starts and the AI is lively there.
This... Possibility is actually quite doable.
Rolling start behind all the Sophys seems to be bad idea though (that some had assume Sophy won't replace the AI by this). There are probably some other adjustment required for using Sophy as the likely Expert mode (honestly replace the AI with Sophy as a whole and put inferior versions in less difficulty ones, B-Spec gotta use them too).
There was Clubman Cup Plus that was standing start and really lively AI. Looked really good honestly.
Then Qualifying like GT1, GT3, and GT4 Championships is the remaining something that needs to make it through the game.

So it's a combination of earlier GT (such as GT2's) Used Cars, and newer GT (such as GT4's) Used cars. In games like GT1 you can buy multiple copies of Used Cars as much as you want. In GT4 any used cars would be sold out after buying it once. Now in GT7 it's both.

Thanks, hopefully there is some way to select this difficulty for all events
It's selectable in options, but it'd apply to all World Circuit (the event menu) races and it can be changed anytime in options.

Has there been much discussion about this?

I have a feeling that PD has programmed the AI to be progressively-more challenging as you work your way up from the ****boxes to the mega cars.

This makes sense to me given the fact that the company's decided to entice and nurture car / racing noobs through the ranks, so to speak.

So, it could be that we've only seen tidbits of the AI in its slower forms in trailers and where higher-spec'd cars were present, such as in the Daytona lap, the AI had been manually set at a lower difficulty.

Just a thought prompted by the many assumptions peeps have made based on very-early career events.

IOW, I'm suggesting that there's a possibility that each of the difficulty choices itself gets faster the further you progress into the game.

Those cars were "sold out" randomly, they weren't bought

That is true, we've yet to see anyone go further enough to actually do any of those races with high powered cars.
