Suspension physics are definetly different.
Don't know how realistic it is but it actually looks like the car is bouncing over bumps.

To me that looks like a physics engine running a higher refresh rate than GT Sport. I could obviously be wrong, but that sharp shunt the Camaro took at the rear axle looked a lot more visceral than anything I've seen in a GT title before.

I know there’s about 14 hours before Jordan’s review, but I really need to see that custom race AI set up right. It’s killing me. Some of these streamers are so close and I’m like

You like custom race mode as much as I do? Just done 1 hour at Bathurst and 1 hour at Big Willow in this mode. Awesome fun, I have a random number generator pick my grid spot.

To be honest, I'm not sure if implementing NASCAR again would be a good idea, even if we can assign custom championship races. I feel like the racing would be limited on the count there's only 3 oval tracks in GT7. Yes, there were road courses, but I don't see any of those, even the Daytona roval NASCAR layout in GT7.

Honestly, I could find plenty of uses for them outside of Ovals, but I mostly would like to see NASCAR trucks as well.

Closely to GT PSP physics

Yup just as i thought, someone on reddit already complained that the game is grindy, in the predict metacritic thread i said that grind would be one of the bigger complaints and looks like i was right. This is what happens when plenty of racing games (looking at you Forza) gives you instant gratification by gifting the player fast cars very early in the game, im not surprised if this game will only be an 80-83 in MC.

I love grinding so it will probably be a great game for me

Progression and grinding are very different things. Let’s see what Friday brings. Grind is a real problem with modern games so I don’t dismiss it as readily.

To be honest I thought the opposite.

In the streams I've seen, unless they're trying to fully upgrade every car they get, they're making accumulating hundreds of thousands of credits look very straightforward.

So far, PD look to be providing us the tools for endless race customisation: cars-parts-liveries-weather-grid set up, etc. We’ll soon find out about the AI through more advanced players(Jordan, YouTube streamers, etc).
tbh I never had an issue with grinding for money in any GT game, I just got enough money to buy everything I wanted by playing the game :D
And this type of grinding doesn’t seem too bad. 35,000Cr
payouts gets low level cars, but a few of these races get players much faster cars. its not long to get some classics like the CSL. Casual GT players(not including Fresh to the GT series players) should have a good amount of cars with their limited time.

some races like high end ones (gr.3 and high pp) give 75k to 100k which is actually pretty good

Believe it or not, there were plans for this in the 50's and 60's, it's why Fuji Speedway was built and why there's a bonkers big banky boi beyond T1.
There also was a Japanese stock car championship for most of the 70's, 80's, and early 90's as well. They looked something like this.
